Lovely campground in a great setting. Gravel sites, some of the cleanest bathrooms, showers and laundry facilities that we have seen. Nice people running the place, eager to please. Would definitely stay here again if the opportunity arose. Reasonable rates and about 15 minutes to the National Park. Accommodating to people with horses as well. 5 Stars in my book! Also, cell coverage is poor but they have really good wifi.

We got to Zachary Taylor RV Resort via our Airstream club which is holding its Fall Rally here.
The owners and staff are very friendly and easy to work with.
The location is on the water and you can sit in the screened patio and rock in a rocker (which is I’m doing right now) or get on a boat and head out to the lake.
I haven’t used the showers etc but I understand that they will be renovated soon.
We will definitely be coming back in the future.

This KOA was rather typical of many. Sites are close together, but easy access. Staff was friendly, but unfortunately no one was wearing a mask.

The sites are fairly close together, typical of a KOA (which this once was).
The grounds are decently maintained, and it looks like they have a nice swimming pool.
The picnic table is in poor shape. The spot was fairly level, but it’s not a concrete or gravel pad.

Nice KOA. Our site was fairly level, but some were not. Staff was friendly and I was impressed that the sites had gas grills and some had fire pits too. Each site had a nice set of table and chairs.

Stayed here overnight and was delighted to find that besides the full hook ups and pull thru as promised, this KOA offered a dinner menu for sale which included delivery right to the door of our RV. Kevin, one of the owners, couldn’t have been nicer. A free pancake plus breakfast is available from 7:30-9:30am. Our spot was level, and there is a walking trail which is great after a long day sitting. There is a pet run and lovely gift shop. Pride in ownership shows here! Would definitely stay here again if the chance arose.

Rock Crusher Canyon is a large RV park that can accommodate late rigs. Ours is 28’ and we were probably on of the smallest RVs here. The park has many trees and even more bushes, which give it a “state park” feel, which I like. I've noticed that some sites ate fully paved with pavers and others (like ours are dirt) Our site is wide and flat. That said, we’re parked next to a trailer that has not been moved or attended to for quite some time. I certainly don't mind staying next to a permanent resident, but I don't like stairing at a trailer that's in this state of disrepair.

Nice KOA we had a pull through on level ground overlooking the lake. Bring bug spray as it was buggy.
