Spacious, warm and inviting with a well-planned layout, where every detail has been thought about
Immaculate facilities: site, restrooms, laundry, barn, store. Sarah was so kind and accommodating. Our girls spent hours and hours fishing in the ponds.
Chef Lucy made a wonderful thanksgiving dinner and brought it to our site. Owners are passionate about keeping nice vintage trailers. Can’t wait to return for a longer stay when the pool is ready.

Be considerate about communicating when you will arrive, I didn't think about telling Sarah that we'd be more than an hour late, not thinking that she would be up waiting for us to arrive to show us our site, sorry!

If you are coming in after dark, take FM660 and Slate Rock Rd slow, there are sharp turns and it gets narrow and bumpy.

Good news is that we had the entire lake view side of the campground to ourselves. Great views and a playful otter. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good dump station. Fun hiking trails, and incredible fall colors.

Drive in on Chumstick hwy can be vomit-inducing with a few very tight turns for big rigs. Feels like driving into Leavenworth is a chore. Power was out for almost every full-hookup site, and the ones that had power were under the threat of power being turned off for maintenance any day. We moved to the other side of the park after one day, no full hookups, but had 30-amp and water. After a few days the water was disconnected due to freezing, they have a water refill station near the entrance.

6 RV spots at the Albion Normal school right behind the Cormish Hall. 50/30/20 amp and water. Coming south on HW 77 turn right on E 800 S and be ready to take a left on S Water Tower Circle, otherwise you will have to back on to the highway like I did.
Grounds are quiet in a small rural town, just the donkey braying good morning. We stayed during the Haunted Mansion for Halloween and the kids had fun.
Not clear on the website but you don’t have to rent Miller hall to stay at the RV sites.

Stayed here one night on our way south to the Redwoods. Full hookups with 50-amp service. Site easy to back into. Neighbors were well-behaved, but the road noise from I-5 in the sites that are closer to the freeway is intense. Hot and dusty, but we found loads of blackberries during our morning hike before heading out.

Don't trust GPS, it will lead you to the district office, not the campground.
