We were there on the night of March 1, and the snow made it somewhat difficult to travel North Pole Road. As a result, we stopped at the first site we saw. It was open (no trees), and had plenty of room for the RV, dolly, and toad. Great location to access Custer State Park and the rest of Black Hills. No cows, cowboys, or ATV's this time of year!

Large level parking area; very kind of the community to provide this area; even though there are no hookups, there is a large trash dumpster; only about 10 minutes from entrance to Carlsbad Caverns N.P>

Navajo casino security was very helpful. We had the entire RV lot to ourselves. I would not come here when the casino is open, but it was very nice with the casino closed.
Rest area was fairly wide open in late February. Dump station was a bit unusual (see previous review), which is not a big problem except for people who cannot follow directions (someone before us, for example, who dumped on top of grating rather than in trough).

Absolutely beautiful spot; about 15 minutes from Grand Canyon; free dump station and potable water at Mather Campground in National Park; plenty of fallen wood to make campfire.

We left the RV here while we drove the toad to both Bryce and Zion. The road was snowy and muddy, but we were able to get through with little problem. Very pretty area, and great place to camp for free while visiting Bryce and Zion.

Free dump station and water across Hyde Street from the park. Had a little problem getting in and out with total (RV + dolly + toad) length of 49', but not much
In the peak season, the site spacing could be very tight, but in late February there was no one near us. Both staff members I met were extremely friendly and helpful (including the woman coming to the laundry room in the evening when we called due to the change machine jamming). After almost a week with no hookups (other than electric one night), this park had everything we needed. The laundry was nice and not too expensive. The showers were among the best I have seen at campgrounds and included shampoo, body wash, and bath mats. Wifi was excellent. The site also had cable TV which we did not connect.

Paid $8 entrance fee to use water and dump station. Water at dump station was off for the winter, but potable boat wash water was nearby. Park ranger was very helpful over the phone and at the site. In early March many places had their dump stations and/or water off for the winter, so it was great to find this place.

After being led here by the Elks RV campground host (we are not Elks), we entered the exit, but the hostess was very friendly and got us set for the night. The sites are tight, but not too tight. We did not use any of the off[site services (bathrooms closed due to COVID).
