Agree with everything the last reviewer said. Right off the hwy and great for a quick overnight. The road is actually not all that busy so I barely even hear it. Even with my regular sized van, I couldn't turn around to get out so you pretty much have to back out onto the hwy.

It is exposed so you will get wind noise, but it was not all that windy the night I stayed. Very clean, no trash anywhere.

Verizon had 2 bars and was fast. No T-Mobile service at all even with a cell booster.

Great site for boondocking. A lot of space and pretty easy to get to. Dirt road is easily drivable and most cars will be fine. Just open the gate and drive in.

Cell service near get worst as you go further in. I got barely 1 bar with my Verizon phone, but my T-Mobile hotspot got nothing. With my WeBoost on, I get a couple more bars with Verizon, but the internet was slow but usable and the only streaming service I could get working was Youtube. T-Mobile hotspot still got nothing with the WeBoost.

Right in the middle of a bunch of good mountain biking trails. The sites are spaces pretty far apart so excellent privacy. The views are very nice.

Good cell service with both Verizon and T-Mobile. Got two bars and could stream video just fine.

Dirt road is drivable in anything that's not lowered. Recommend you drive in from the Thumb Butte Recreation Area side. Access via Copper Basin Rd is much rougher; more rocky and rutty.

Easy to access. Don’t follow Google map’s route. Watch the video and follow that route instead.

The dry lake bed was surprisingly smooth to drive on. Location is far enough from I-15 that the car noise is mostly a low drone.

Don’t think too many people use this place. The vault toilet was very clean.

Verizon and T-Mobile service was good.

The place is right off a paved road so it's pretty accessible by any vehicle. It was very clean and far enough from the main road that it was very quiet.

Could not find a level spot so that's something to be aware of. Seems pretty big but the road does get worst as you go further in. Only saw two other campers in the middle of the week.

Verizon was 0-1 bar so practically useless for even simple web browsing. However, with a cell booster you can stream video with Verizon. T-Mobile got 3 bars and could stream HD video without a cell booster.

Not all that big so everyone can be pretty close together if it’s crowded. Still more spaced out then any RV park. Also looked like they may have closed off some areas while I was here.

Only got 1 bar with Verizon and the internet was intermittent at best. No bars with T-Mobile. Turned on the cell phone booster, it was all good with both providers. No problem streaming video. Was near the entrance area. Maybe better reception closer to the boat ramp?

Agree with some other reviewers about the people here. Seems like some may spend a lot of time here and they added some character to the neighborhood, haha. But it felt completely safe.

Thought the road into this area was pretty good. Even saw a few low clearance sport cars driving the road and no one got stuck. The turnouts are pretty well spaces so you don't really see each other, but getting into some of them could be dicey as they can be quite ruddy. The spot I got was very clean; not even one piece of trash. It even had two nicely built rock fire rings.

Got one of the spot right before the trail head and only got 1 bar with Verizon and T-Mobile. Other than annoying latency, speeds were good enough for streaming video.

If you mountain bike, the trails here are insanely fun to descend. Flowy and rowdy with technical rock gardens nicely spread throughout. Definitely coming back just to ride these trails again. It's the three Yeager trails.

The parking area is just right off the main road and is pretty big so you don't really need to drive all the way to the trail kiosk. But If you do want to drive all the way in, I'd recommend AWD or 4x4 since it's sandy and there is a pretty steep hill right at the entrance. Probably won't want to get anything bigger than a van pass the main parking area.

At the kiosk, it's very quiet as you're nestled in a canyon. There are a few fire pits and the area could easily fit 5-6 vehicles comfortably.

Cell service is decent with both Verison and T-Mobile even with just one bar. With my WeBoost on I got a few bars on both networks and had not issues streaming videos or surfing websites.

I really like how spaced out the sites are at this campground. You have a lot of privacy. It's also close by to some pretty good mountain biking trails.

Lots of tall trees, but I found that the clearing at site B1 was just big enough for Starlink to work through. Pretty happy about that because cell service is not great here. Verizon kinda worked, but was very slow with barely a bar. Enabling my WeBoost got it useable with 1-2 bars, but it was still pretty slow.

It's free with a Discover Pass, but you're limited to 7 days a year.

Right off the paved road and pretty close to Santa Fe. It's quiet at night.

Only amenities is two vault toilets and trash cans.

Not crowded at all during the two weekdays I stayed. This site also has cell service thought I barely got one bar with both Verizon and T-Mobile, but I did have decent access even with 1 bar. With my weBoost on, I got 2-3 bars with both service and had no issues streaming video.
