We came here for use of the dump station and potable water while boondocking at the Old Airstrip off Cow Creek Rd. Be aware that, at least while we were here, park entrance is from 6am - 8pm. Use of the dump is $22. Dump is obvious not far from the main gate, but does not have potable water. To fill water, follow signs for the boat launch. After turning left from S Park Rd (the main road) to the boat launch (Waterline Way), take your first right into the big parking lot. There is a small bathroom at the back right corner with a spigot on it. You will still need a good length of hose to make this work, as it's offset from the road a bit, but it was the closest spigot we found (there is also a spigot on the bathroom structure at the boat launch but it will require a very long hose).

Stopped here quickly for the night. Full Verizon service, very big rig friendly, quite a few places. The gravel piles lock the wind and add a bit of privacy. Pretty much unlimited hiking and biking just west.

Nice double dump that you can access going into our leaving the park. We were only here for dump + fill, which was a $15 fee. Potable water available at the far left dump lane (if you are entering the dump from the pay station). There is a trash can here, though they give you a tag that says "no trash". They reserve the dump from 11-1 daily so camp users can use it (we arrived during this time and were allowed to use it still, but they were clear that if there had been a line, we would not have been able to use it).

Pros:
Free! ($20/night with 20 amp hookup, free without hookups. No water or sewer hookups)
Free dump right across from where you park
Free water (RED taps, not teal ones!)
Lots of trash bins
1 mile from downtown
Gorgeous views
Good amount of use in the evenings with people bringing their horses in (= entertainment!), at least while we were there.
Great cell (Verizon), no booster needed
Not crowded
Quiet
Plenty of space to turn around and navigate
Friendly to any size rig

Cons:
Can be windy/dusty (a gust tore off our awning)
No shade
Not available if a big event is going on

Notes:
Agree with other reviewers, the aerial map that another commenter posted is very helpful in figuring out where to park. If you don't want hookups, you can park almost anywhere (there is a large space by the pond when you enter off 5th st that some people were parked in short term while we were there, and plenty of non-hookup spaces along the same fence that has the hookups).
Water is not well marked as potable, but all the red taps are city water.

Easy access with an exit off the highway. Some washboard dirt road, but nice and wide. We didn't go too far from the road, so there was some road noise, but nothing we minded. You could go back quite a ways and find some really great secluded spots. Be aware that this is a military zone, so there was some occasional noise from that and military personnel passing by now and then. There is a sign upon entry about being aware of illegal immigration in the area, but this did not feel like a threat while we were there by any means. Cell service was top notch for remote working the whole time. There were a few other campers here, but generally a pretty empty place. Hardly any trash that we noticed. Closest dump stations are in Gila Bend, but we had trouble finding water there for boondocking, so load up before you arrive. The saguaro cacti in the area make for a great landscape with good, endless biking.

Great spot very centrally located, walkable to anywhere in town and 20 minutes from Sinks Canyon State Park. For $40/night with full hookups and facilities (price might be higher per night for fewer nights, and I think is cheaper the longer you stay, but I'm not sure what the cost is), this place is a great deal compared to other nearby parks. The location is right on the river, and the park even has a pretty large space where you can walk down and hang out by the water. The RV spots are generous compared to many we've seen, with picnic tables and little grassy spaces.

We are working while here and mostly were able to work off the provided wifi, which tested around 2-4mbps up, 1-2 down. For video calls, we used our phone hot spot or turned on our Mifi device (Verizon gets full LTE). Streaming shows off wifi was not very successful.

The folks who run the park (only a few RV spots, mostly a motel) have great pride of ownership, with very neat and clean grounds. They were very accommodating, organized, and friendly our entire stay.

The spaces are not pull through, but there's plenty of room to back in and no pressure from traffic. Any size rig would fit.

Cons: road noise can be pretty loud here during working hours. Another reviewer commented on the siren, which we did hear once during our stay. It was loud! But it's a tradeoff for being so close to town.

Kind of a painful visit. We planned to make it a one-stop shop for gas, propane, dump and water. Gas was fine and competitively priced but we had to go in to pre-pay for unknown reasons. Dump was a tight squeeze and required a code from inside ($10). We went inside and asked for someone to come fill propane twice (which means standing in line 2 more times), eventually someone came but they were new and not sure how to work it. There was no potable water or trash on the premises. There is free air at the dump station; don't pay at the machine just across the lane. In the end we did get gas, propane, and dump, but were here for over an hour and still had to find water (which we did not end up finding in Gila Bend).

We stayed here for one night on our way to Cow Creek Rd dispersed camping just north. This is really just a fairly small flat area right off the road, and we wouldn't have been interested in setting up camp here. Recommend getting out and scouting the (short) road before driving down it, as there is a pretty significant washed out portion on the far side of the road after/while you turn. Once you get to the flat opening, there is a road that continues straight, but it doesn't go far and we wouldn't recommend taking it if you're in a big rig.

Desert Tortoise campground, and the entrance to the park ($7/vehicle), is just a mile or so south of this area so you could be fine parking here if you were looking to enjoy the park without paying campground fees. the gate is open 6am - 8pm currently. We did go into the park for the dump station and to fill water for boondocking. The water was a little tricky, as there isn't a potable spigot at the dump station. To fill water, follow signs for the boat launch. After turning left from S Park Rd (the main road) to the boat launch (Waterline Way), take your first right into the big parking lot. There is a bathroom at the back corner with a spigot on it. Not sure why ratings are so low for this spot. The airstrip is the main and most accessible camping area, but there are tons of surrounding and less populated land, even for big rigs. We scouted quite a bit on bikes (it's also highly walkable -- you won't have to go too far) before picking a spot, and ended up at a spot where we never were in view of another camper, even during MLK weekend. Things did get a little louder during the weekend, but that was expected and OHVers were considerate and nice. During the week it was almost empty! We are RVing full time and found internet to be a little spotty -- had to set up the WeBoost -- but generally no issues. We worked and streamed TV shows. Lots of wild (?) burros in the area, which was fun. Some spots have lake views, and the lake is accessible with a 2-4 mile roundtrip walk depending on where you are.

The nearest water and dump is at Desert Tortoise campground. Be aware that, at least while we were here, park entrance is from 6am - 8pm. Entrance, and thus dump station/water fill use, is $7. Dump is obvious not far from the main gate, but does not have potable water. To fill water, follow signs for the boat launch. After turning left from S Park Rd (the main road) to the boat launch (Waterline Way), take your first right into the big parking lot. There is a small bathroom at the back corner with a spigot on it.
