4 stars only because we couldn’t use the atv here as the trail for it was closed and the road is a bit bumpy and steep for big rigs. But the rest was amazing. Hiked on the interlinken trail and it was just fantastic. And a surprise for us when we reached the old Dexter house.

It’s a bit chilly here but you just dress accordingly.

Super clean spots, quiet and space is good. We are here during the week so it may be different on the weekends.

If you like blm and ltva’s, this is the best best thing! And you can walk to town. With a big rig just make sure you come in via 3rd street. Basic parking space behind old town and no services.

Just clean east spacious and perfect for visiting Carlsbad Caverns area. Nice structures for sun protection too! Just a bit long on the dirt road to get there but that’s it! Rating 4 stars just because you do hear the highway.

We liked this place. Really would have been better if not here over memorial weekend. It was super crowded and people are just trashy. They leave garbage and tents and easy ups, flip flops and cans etc. we cleaned up the area most of our last day. Be careful of high tides or rain as it’s easy to get stuck.

We have been living the RV life for a long time and boondocked wherever we can but usually in BLM’s and National Forests. This was our first parking lot stay. We stayed across from Walmart at Sam’s club which offers more quiet spots with a bit of grass and trees as a view. Was superbe that we could do our shopping at both Sam’s and Walmart in one stay.

Came here to Do some Atv and the road was a bit rough with our 40’ fifth wheel, it was over 100 and the ohv space is not that big. We didn’t even feel like riding in the morning since it’s not big and was going to hit 100 before noon. Was a good stop on the way to our next destination so I’m happy it was there for us.

You can hear the highway a bit but it’s nice and spacious with privacy. Love it! Cellular is great too on Verizon. Just a bar less on AT&T. Easy access with big rig.

If you want a place with clean, slabs and a nice pool, this is it. We went because the weather was unsure and high tides on the beach were expected. It isn’t our style of place but the place is impeccable. Lots of long timers and only a handful of spots for travelers.

This is just a fabulous place to get some R&R in a small campground with lots of space and nature all around you. The owner is very welcoming and super helpful. At night you get the amazing show of firefly’s on the mountain side that easily competes with a professional light show. The birds abound here and you can even spot otters in the river. You are close to amazing motor cycle rides too! The campground has very good wifi service to offset the lack of cell coverage.

Spots are ok. Road is a bit rough. Awesome atv trails that take you to lake mead. Close to VoF Park. Very quiet.
