We stayed 2 nights in early October while traveling from western Colorado to southern Arizona. Nice and quiet, plenty of room for our 40' class A. Probably would not have had to unhook but we did. It was cool and breezy while we were there, but even in the summer the tall cottonwood trees would provide plenty of shade. The park is only 250' off the highway, but there is minimal traffic and we never heard any traffic noise. We did not use the wifi or the facilities so don't have any input.

We were planning our trip and had intended to stay further north for a few days, but when I saw the description and reviews of Buena Vista I knew it would be a hit with my wife. Turns out I enjoyed it just as much!
Plus all the RV park infrastructure is new and in great condition. Just off hwy 281, but the road noise was not a distraction at all and dies off to nothing at night. Friendly management, the safari drive with many exotic animals, a petting zoo with goats, pigs and alpacas.......pretty awesome.
Our pull thru site was long enough for the 40' motorhome plusthe F150 towed, and still had room to spare. All this and a Passport America rate of $22.50 for the 3 nights midweek.
We are already talking about coming back and haven't left yet!

We were traveling to the coast and used the Riley store to overnight. I can't remember for sure, but believe the sites had water and power, no sewer. A couple of the sites were plenty long enough for our 40' class A. Turns out I could have looped around into it without unhooking the tow. Road noise disappears later in the evening. People at the store were friendly and they had diesel...….didn't fill up, which I regretted after getting over to the coast and having a hard time finding a place to get the rig in to fuel! Won't make that mistake again. Will definitely stay here again next trip.

Don't get me wrong, next time through on I15 we will probably stay here again. If the price was $38 it would be a 5 star rating. The convenient location and no negatives might just be worth the price....wait, did I just say that? This park is like brand new, the grass is nicely trimmed, concrete pads are long enough for a 40' rig plus and an F150 to park. Wifi is still a work in progress, but since we signed up with a Visible account we seldom use a park's wifi anyway. There is a grocery store within a couple of miles and a good restaurant just down the highway. Diesel is available before the interstate entrance. All in all a good place to stay before or after running the SLC traffic gauntlet!

We stayed here for a week in August. I knew going in it was more than we usually want or need, but was curious to see what the "new" place in town was like.
If you are looking for a resort type stay then this place is great. Sites are long and spacious, utilities are basically new, the park is very well maintained, has a pool/hot tub, kids water playground, volleyball and pickle ball courts.....you know, the stuff we pay for and never use!
Did not like that a guest has to park up front and walk in or have you come and get them, there is plenty of room at the site for a visitors vehicle. And as I read it, they won't accept packages or allow delivery vehicles into the park. Makes it hard for full timers. Also the park is just off I70 and sites to the north will hear trucks.
May or may not stay again in the future...can't knock the park, it's just the price and lack of delivery options.

This is a newer park outside of Palisade in the peach country. Sites are fairly roomy, but no trees for shade. Full hookups and everything worked. Propane available on the way in. Convenient to all the area attractions. If there is a decent weekly or monthly rate I would be interested in spending more time here. Price is the only negative for us.

Old West is a nice small park with atmosphere provided by its' owner, Jim Brandt. Jim is a cowboy exhibition shooter and has many YouTube videos of his trick shooting that he will share.
Monticello is a good base from which to explore the southern Utah parks and national forest.
Although Campendium lists only 30 amp service there are several 50 amp sites, some are pull through's. The only negative I saw was that in site 15 the sewer connection was as high or higher than the sewer outlet on the motor home.
Highway noise was minimal, didn't even notice it at night.

We were traveling on I84 towards Idaho and needed a place for the night. Due to the first winter weather of the season moving in (this was late September) we wanted to avoid sub-freezing temps and possible snowy roads at the higher elevations to the south. Pendleton was about the only option but it worked out OK. Like I said in the title, the park appears to have been built for smaller rigs; getting a 40' class A with a towed vehicle into the park is not going to happen. Unhooked up front and was able to get into a back-in site OK. The area is scenic, but we didn't have time to check out the town. FHU and concrete sites, no problems there. A large % of the occupants looked to be semi-permanent. The rate seemed a bit high, but since the park was full maybe I'm out of touch??

We stayed at Rancho Verde for 2 nights in June. Great park with shade trees, friendly people and roomy sites. The sites are back to back which is sort of old school, but there was plenty of parking space for the 40' motorhome and a towed. Absolutely no complaints and we would definitely stay again. Local occupancy tax runs the rate up to +- $47.00
