Confirmed by 8 users | Last reported on October 16, 2022We normally do not stay in RV parks, but this would be our exception. Hosts were extremely gracious. Sites are well spaced with full electric, water & sewer. Sites do face easterly to provide shade on the door side. Public restrooms/showers were very clean. Pool was a big bonus since we were there in August. There are no fire rings, and maybe that contributed to how quiet it was a night.
Plenty of room for all size of rigs, especially the large rigs.
We picked this spot because we were attending the Palisade Peach Fest. A shuttle provided us with transportation to the fest. No need to drive. If you want to experience Palisade and the western slope of Colorado, this would make for a great base camp.

We spent one night on our way to Boulder. After 2 nights Boondocking, the clean showers were just what we needed. The River Bottom spots for tents and vans are by far the nicest in the resort with tree cover and close proximity to the Colorado River. Only downside Are the trains that run close to the resort a couple to times a night.

This is one of the nicest full-hook up RV resorts we have stayed in. Their campsites are nicely spaced for an RV resort. Everything in the resort is very nicely done and well kept. The pool is also heated and the cleanest we have seen. They also have a great sandpit playground with a large covered pavilion. We did not use the shower house but my wife went inside to check it out and she said it was really nice with granite countertops. The owners are also very friendly and were super helpful in providing ideas of what to do with our kids in Palisade and places to check out. We wish we had more time in Palisade as it is an amazing area and will be staying here again when we return. The only item I wished they had were fire pits but you can bring your own free-standing fire pit and still have fires.

Arrived June 13, stopover good, large park, not much shade. Got a back in spot with FHU backed up to a vineyard. Sites had plenty space between. Could have used some grass cutting. Staff friendly. Didn’t use shower or pool facilities but looked family friendly. A little pricey for the site compared to others along our trip. NOTE: for those with medical preferences, the “Happy Camper” dispensary just opened next door to the RV park. Thought it was a winery at first as so much wine is made in this area LOL.

Pros:
Nice new, clean facilities (laundry and bathhouse)
Site space was just ok
Full hook up sites and decent price
Next door to a winery
Between CNM and Grand Mesa and convenient to Grand Junction for other things
The downtown area is adorable but not many amenities
Cons:
WIFI was unusable and very slow
Cell signal was good
Really dusty, red dirt everywhere
No shade in the campground currently
You can smell the hemp grow house next door on occasion, this didn’t bother us but it might bother you if you're sensitive to it

Relatively new park...owner and management are helpful and friendly. The spots are widely spaced for an RV park...glad to see that. Not a lot of shade, but it takes time for the trees to grow. Facility has a family friendly pool, Group BBQ area, nice laundry room and the nicest/cleanest bathroom/shower facilities that I have seen in an RV park.
There is also a lower area that caters to tent campers....nice to wander down there since it is close to the Colorado river. There is a train that goes by, but not too often and there is no whistle.
Palisade area has a lot to offer with the cute restaurants in town, wineries and fresh fruit. I wish we were there for the fresh peaches that coming into season...maybe another trip!
