Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on March 30, 2021We stayed here for 2 months while I worked a contract in Camp Verde and we loved it. It’s small, quiet and clean. There are nice, large trees for shade and lots of grass. The Verde River runs through the back of the lower part of the park next to the dog park. The laundry and bathrooms were always clean and the long term residents were very friendly. And it’s a park where the WiFi actually works! We can’t say enough great things about the owners. They are responsive, helpful, kind hearted people who take pride in this park and it shows. This park is easy to get to and central to so many great places. If you are looking for a safe, clean, friendly place to stay without all the ‘extras’ this is the place to be.

We stayed at Rancho Verde for 2 nights in June. Great park with shade trees, friendly people and roomy sites. The sites are back to back which is sort of old school, but there was plenty of parking space for the 40' motorhome and a towed. Absolutely no complaints and we would definitely stay again. Local occupancy tax runs the rate up to +- $47.00

Great small park. Trees between the sites and are kept trimmed back. Grass is kept watered so always green. Easy to get to from the freeway. Close to Camp Verde and Sedonia. Cottonwood and Jerome are easy day trips. Located in a small neighborhood, across from a beautifully kept mobile home park and homes on large lots. We were here when Covid stay at home was declared and proved to be a great park to be quarantined. They have 2 maintenance men who are very helpful and keep everything in top shape. There is a great grocery store in Camp Verde and a Whole foods in Sedona .
Hiking in Sedona is plentiful and beautiful. Lots of easy trails as well as challenging ones. When Sedona trails were closed due to Covid. Red rock state park remained open for hiking. There is lots to do and see in the area. Best of all there are lots of spaces for short stay travelers. We paid $480. Monthly.

I booked a site to stay with my husband and our two young girls at Rancho Verde RV Park. Since we wouldn’t be arriving until around 7, I called the day of our reservation around 3:00 to let them know we would be arriving at that time, as it suggests to do in the confirmation email. When I called, Sharon got on the phone and said they would not allow ANY late arrivals, and I should have made prior arrangements (which I thought I was doing). She then proceeded to tell me it’s all there in the confirmation email, which I had in front of me, and when I asked where, she said she “would not argue with me.” I asked where I should take my family for the night— no suggestions for another site were made she just said, “that’s not my problem,” and then hung up on me.
In short, Sharon in the hospitality industry, you are a nasty, unaccommodating, and absolutely worthless at your job. There is no excuse for this type of behavior toward your customers, however, I suspect your horrible attitude, grumpy demeanor, and general unhappiness translates far beyond just your job.
Silver lining, a site that I had tried to initially book ended up opening up, so we got to stay at a much nicer resort.

This RV park is quite the little diamond in the rough. It is quaint and well kept. Sharon and Jim are fantastic and always there to help out if you need something. The sites are level and there is ample space between each RV spot. Full hookups and 50 amp service was very sufficient for our needs. Sewer was sloped appropriately and was easy to use. There is no cable TV but when I ran a scan on my antenna, I picked up 52 channels of varying quality. Wifi is not screaming fast but adequate for email and surfing the net. This park is located on the west side of Camp Verde and is very quiet. There are some full timers here but that doesn’t bother us as they seem to be well kept. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend Rancho Verde RV park if you are in this area.

After battling I-17 southbound and all the construction, we needed to pull over for the night. We found this place on compendium and it was just right. Nice and clean bathroom, safe and good people. There's a lot of long-term rvers but, we found a sitter, tree covered site on a hot Arizona day but, we couldn't setup our Dish because of the trees and that's OK. We'll be back, safe travels.
