We stayed here for 3 nights in our 32 ft Class A. We asked for a spot near the back, under the trees, because it's HOT in Texas in late June. The trees completely covered our spot, and it really helped with the heat and the A/C. If you need an open spot for satellite TV, there are plenty of those too. We also enjoyed the pool while we were there. Its an older pool, but is very clean and in the heat it was wonderful.

This park used to be a KOA, but is now re-branded. Best of all, it's Adults Only, which is awesome for us adults. There is a Jellystone down the road if you are interested in kids activities and water parks But for us, this quiet park was very nice, and it is situated nicely on Hwy 290 near the wineries, and is only 5 miles from downtown Fredericksburg if you want to go shopping or eat out. Easy in/out, and we were escorted to our site when we arrived, gravel sites, picnic tables. They have Cable, but it didn't work very well. Internet is available but only for light use, no streaming or downloads. We will return on our next trip.

The park is 60% Park Models for snowbirds and 40% RV sites. Of the RV Sites about 90% of the sites are full time, with the usual trailer park decor on their lots. It's not really a good place for someone wanting a place for a vacation spot. On top of that, the immediate area is not very nice and is very rundown. We ended up driving 10 - 15 miles to find an area that was nice enough to go out and eat. The wi-fi they provide is horrible and is weak and inconsistent. Sites are concrete pads and level, however there is zero shade. We will not be staying here again when we come too Florida.

This is a nice COE park on the Florida/Georgia border near Chatahoochie, FL. It has 65 tent and RV sites. 50 amp and water with dump station onsite. Bathrooms have showers if you need them. Good over air TV channels. Found this little gem on our way from Florida to Alabama. $24 a night or $12 with your senior national parks pass. It has a boat ramp but no swimming area. Would be nice since it’s super hot this time of year. They have some pull thrus if you just need a nights stop. Best spots are in the loops with spots 1-16 and 17-40.

Stayed at White Oak Park outside Lake Charles, LA. It’s located 4 miles North of hwy 10 and is easy to get to. Small parish park, 8 sites total, W/E and dump station $12 per night. Large concrete pads, very long. Will work for any big rig or fifth wheel. We have a 32 ft Class A and tow a Jeep and had plenty of room. Park was quiet and well maintained, had a playground, bathrooms, and shower. We did not use any of these. The park is on a river and you can walk to the boat launch to see it. The Verizon service was spotty, but for an overnight spot this was great!!!

Poverty Point State Park, Delhi, LA. This is located about 30 min west of Vicksburg, MS. It is 3 miles off of Hwy 20. It is a Louisiana State Park on a reservoir. Very nice and clean. Many sites have full h/up. We were here just one night so opted for the 130 ft pull thru with water and electric. Super long, over 100 ft. (there are 4 pull thrus). Great overnight stop, no need to unhitch. Nice playground for kids, and a laundry though I didn’t see it. $38 including taxes and reservation fee.

If I stayed again and needed a pull thru I would reserve site 42 which faces the woods and is private on one side.
