After a full day of traveling on busy roads it was nice to find a quiet, well maintained campground to relax and unwind.

We stopped in just for 1 night. It was perfect!!! Electric & water hook ups. All spots were full. We we’re expecting a loud evening but was pleasantly surprised everyone was quiet around 9pm. Highly recommend this place. And the price was excellent. Only $12 🙌

I travelled here with a 35’ 5th wheel, long bed pickup and parked in site #7, an E/W, PT site for $12/night. This is a lovely little park! The roads and sites were asphalt with concrete pads. The site was very level and easy to get into. The sites are totally open to the sun and are somewhat closely spaced. There is a long boat dock just down the road. The bathhouse is ok. It needs a coat of paint and is unheated so it was pretty chilly when I was there. I didn’t use the showers as a result. I had 1-2 bars LTE with Verizon, no wifi and only a handful of OTA channels. I would imagine that it could get really hot and buggy in the summer given the proximity to the river/bayou. In February it was really nice. It was very quiet. It’s a great value and I would definitely stay there again.

Pros for me… next to Bayou water, which was beautiful, with small fishing dock. Green grass so my doggos could relaxed under trees. Not right in town but only five minutes away. Close to Creole Nature Trail and many lakes and waterways. Short drive to Gulf of Mexico.
Cons… bathrooms were not cleaned once our entire four day stay. Camp host and two of what seemed to be “residence” buddies ALL let their dogs run loose. I have two 100lb dogs, one medium sized and one small dog which I keep in control and leashed since I started traveling two months ago. They would seemingly intentional walk their dogs unleashed past us every time we were outside, or suddenly pop up and looked surprised if the dogs barked. Not cool. The city’s landscape crew came in and pelleted the side of our camper with gravel from weed eater.
Could be wonderful but… oh well

Small park off the 10. Easy to reserve online for $12. It was going to storm on my day of departure so I stayed another night. Electric and water at site. Dump in park. Restrooms with showers. Locals bring their kids to the playground so must like screaming children

Our RV GPS and Waze took us right to White Oak Park. We went directly to pull through site 6 with FHUs. All sites are pull-throughs and the 3 FHUs nearest the bathhouse have long pads (easily fit our 40” 5th wheel and F450) plus are more spacious than their 5 water and electric sites. All the sites have a really nice stand-up barbecue and their own trash can. Water pressure was good at 50 psi and we had no issues with utilities. There are some trees, but we were able to get a north sky shot for Starlink. We got 2 bars on Verizon. There’s a playground and a boat ramp into the river not far away. Right about dusk when the mosquitos started coming out, a spray truck came in, which was nice. The campground (CG) host who lives in the Thibodeau house across from site 6, came by to get one of our driver’s license numbers as check-in. Two roosters were running around the CG that started crowing at about 3:00 AM. Our Riley friends had suggested this quaint little 8-site CG and we wished we had stayed more than just overnight in this quaint little city park.

Small, Clean and quiet campground with level concrete pads and hookups. Tight spots but all are pull through. They had just reopened due to hurricanes of 2020. Bathrooms were not yet open, there were bathrooms a short stroll at the boat ramp. We got a great nights sleep. Highly recommend.

This place is an absolute gem! They were closed for a while recovering from hurricanes and I don’t know what it looked like before, but this campground is the best $12/night campground I have ever seen. It is well-maintained, right on the water (although sites don’t overlook the water), with brand-new cement pads, every site is pull-through, the dump site is clean, and you won’t be consumed by insects if you spend time outside (at least we didn’t in early June). 11-out-of-10 abs would stay here again.
