Great area close to village of Oak creek. We have A 34’MH And we’re pulling a 24’ Trailer. Only a Few spaces near Beaver head flat road we could fit in. Access roads very Rutted But passable. We were on FR 120a First spot on right an adequate Distance from main road With Limited noise. Would not recommend FR9235R For large rigs. FR9500 Had a Couple spaces right at entry for large rigs. Lots Of room for smaller rigs. Great for Vans, Campers Small trailers etc.

I called the travel center and they said to call the legacy hotel that owns the property which is next-door across the street. So I called them and they said for $10 you could park in the back of their hotel parking lot and that did include the dump station at the travel center. They gave you a parking pass and you were monitored with their security system. It felt very secure and quiet. A nice paved parking lot for a large rig. You just go into the hotel lobby and pay your money to get the parking pass.

We stayed one night here, just needing a place to overnight with our class A. This is a no frills campground. No services although I hear there is a way to have water and dump delivered if your are longer term.. The sites are well spaced and seem all level. We were towing and no problem with a pull through. This is basically desert boondocking with a caretaker. My husband described it as “upscale Slab City” if you are familiar with the Salton Sea area. I thought it felt much more refined than that. It’s less than 2 miles off the interstate 10 freeway, but the road is partially paved and dirt, with HUGe potholes. We came in at night and wondered what we had gotten ourselves in to. But seeing it in the morning, we could avoid the holes better and it wasn’t so daunting. So I encourage you to arrive in the daylight.. $10 cash for the overnight and it was worth it for us to know we were safe and no problems finding a decent space which is sometimes a concern which random boondocking. We would stay again if situation came up. We didn’t see any SxS in camp, so not sure if good riding from here. It’s a ways away from the main Salome town.

This is basically the back yard of a farm. So it feels very homey. The spaces are more and to end as opposed to side by side. So you don’t feel next to a camper. 30 amp, water and sewer. We got here in bad weather so we couldn’t see the Teton mountains, but hoping to in the morning. Small park but we didn’t have a reservation and got in. Good location before the mountain driving to Yellowstone going north. No OTA stations but they have internet and cell.

The picture of campground must have been taken on day 1 it opened. 90% of spaces had old run down junky rigs that were long timers. No grass just weeds. Felt unsafe. The good side, the manager who we only spoke to on phone was very nice. The cabins on the outside were cute. Location is a quiet area just a few minutes from town and good shopping. If the place had a resemblance of the picture it would have helped. Internet poor. Great OTA antennae reception

The rodeo grounds had about 8 hookup sites and not sure what they charge. There were none available so they said we could just dry camp for a nominal fee in a huge dirt lot. It worked out well for us as we were towing and all the hookups were back in. We called about 10 am same day and made the arrangements. Nice man on phone. We were gone all day til late in evening so we never saw anyone to pay, nor could we reach in phone in morning, so we just left some money in an envelope at the door to the house on site. It is behind a locked gate, they give you code. Felt very safe. Reasonably quiet.

This is a decent campground with shade trees. They had a good setup for after hours check in. Seems like most sites have a grass area and picnic table on concrete. Level. Gravel and AC drives. We needed AC and 50 amp sites were a must and available. On the Main Street but at least our site in the back was quiet.

We arrived about 4 PM and luckily they had one spot left that would fit our 34 foot motorhome pulling a 20 foot trailer. The staff was really friendly spaces are nice and have grass. The park looks like they’re trying to keep it up and make more improvements it’s very well laid out. We had good cell service with Verizon and their Internet actually worked at the campsite which is another first! There was a nice gift shop, we didn’t explore much else here.

Nice little campground just off freeway but no noise except for the birds. It was first come first serve. We called about 2pm and asked the Ranger how it was looking and he said no problem so we went on in. There were about 6 spaces when we arrived and they were full by 8 pm. We went to nature center and climbed the tower. This is a must. Spectacular views. Also walked the boardwalk. The birds are plentiful and loud! Could have used some mowing around camp. Lower level had more trees but seemed more crowded. Larger sites on top level. Lots of hiking. Bridges birth of camp near Loveland have limited heights. Must enter through Crescent or take gravel Sumac Rd. If you have rig over 12' got sure. One tunnel at 8' but not sure which side of freeway. Actually had free wifi that worked.

Nice amenities but the Pickleball net was broken and lots of trash around Play area. We stayed in a 65’ pull thru space with a64’ rig. Luckily it was an end site because I don’t think we could have gotten in a middle one. They were end to end sites not really traditional pull thru. Prices are high with largest sites at over $100.
