“Kampgrounds of America”
Greetings from the hosts at Beaver KOA.Our campground is open all year round. Beaver is located in Southern Utah in a valley surrounded by the Tusher Mountains to the east and the Mineral Mountains to the west. The valley is mostly flat ranch land with grazing cattle and horses and the beautiful Beaver River flowing through it. Our park is consistent with the rest of the area - level RV sites and lots of shade Elm trees. We love pets and have an agility dog park for them to enjoy. Beaver KOA is a great location for a family get away. You may spot hummingbirds, songbirds, or even deer in the field next door.Conveniently located 200 miles in both directions between Las Vegas and Salt Lake City, Beaver KOA provides direct access via your ATV to 270 miles of the Paiute Trail. It's also a beautiful short drive to Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park. Alpine lakes are fed by trout streams, and great hiking and backpacking are also close by.We assure you of a friendly and warm greeting, inviting you to enjoy clean sites and facilities. You'll have access a well-stocked store and our heated pool during the summer. Our campground offers an ideal chance to escape and embrace the rural charm of Southern Utah.

Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on February 13, 2020A decent but older KOA. Small office with a few products for sale. We interacted with the woman who was the owner, and she was very nice. We had some electrical issues at a previous campground. The owner kindly let us hook up to the utilities to make sure everything worked before paying. If the electric didn't work, and we needed to run our generator, she also offered to put us behind the office rather than staying at the nearby Flying J. Luckily, all utilities worked fine! Busy road right in front of the campground but it quiets down at night. The campground is far enough away from I-15 that the highway drone is fairly muffled. There was quite a bit of snow on the ground when we stayed so it's hard to say much about our site. It was pretty level though. We didn't try the WII FI and just used our phones. Good for an overnight!

We first visited this KOA a year ago to tent camp and had a wonderful stay! Located about 4-1/2 hours north of Las Vegas it was the perfect getaway from the summer Vegas heat! The tent sites are on grass. Well kept too! Water and electricity on each site. Tents sit under beautiful, shade trees with birds singing all around. We were impressed with the size of the tent sites! The campground has a heated pool, laundry, and shower facilities. The bathrooms are open all night. The campground is near fast food restaurants from Burger King to Carl's Jr. in town is a grocery store but the KOA has a well stocked grocery for those must have items!
We have since bought a teardrop trailer and enjoyed our pull through site! Electric and water with a 30 amp service for our trailer. The larger trailers have 50 amp sites!
The campground is well maintIned and the staff are warm and friendly! Can't say enough nice things about this KOA!

We've had such terrible experiences at KOA's that, as full-time rv'ers, we choose them only when a FHU site is needed and we've no other options. We stopped at the Beaver KOA for one night in the spring of 2016 and knew that we would return. We were not disappointed. We planned to visit Bryce Canyon National Park, and decided to stay at the Beaver KOA for 6 nights. We requested a satellite-friendly site and they were very accomodating. Pull through sites at the front of the park are very large and not crammed next to one another as with most KOA's. All sites are gravel, but weed-free and the entire park is immaculate. As KOA's go, the $40 per night was reasonable. Laundry facilities include 4 washers ($1.75) and 4 dryers ($2), a little pricey but all were in working order and very clean. Grocery stores are a short drive from the park. Only slight ding is noise from the road directly in front of the park, but it was quiet at night. We would definitely choose to stay here on a return trip to the area.

We stayed here for a one night stop on our way from Las Vegas to Moab. Staff was friendly and helpful, gave us an upgraded spot since we were one of four rigs there. Site was level and everything was in working order. Was a little noisy with the road traffic. The kids had fun on the playground even with the cooler temps (30s-40s).

Stayed the Saturday Night of Labor day weekend, the facilities were just fine and typical of a KOA. Our site (9) did have a bit more room than many of the others, but boy did we pay for it! Lots of kids enjoying the pool and playground area, the dog walk is all grass and would be ideal except for the ugly humans who don't pick up after their dogs. Good launching point for OHV wanting to enjoy Fish Lake National forest.

Stayed here one night on our way to Yellowstone. Clean campground and showers. Had a dishwashing sink which I thought was a nice touch. Lady at the front desk was vary friendly.

This is a nice KOA campground, with easy off from 1-15. The sites are really nice size, gravel and very level. There is a picnic table, fire ring and stone patio next to trailer.
There is a pool and sports court that appears to be new. Pool closed for the winter while we stayed. Would stay here again

My first concern was that our pull thru was in an area of side by side hook-ups. (Never seen a shared fire pit before!) These pull thru’s are essentially parallel parking spaces (nose to tail) which could make entering & exiting them difficult when the park is crowded. Fortunately for us, both sites of concern were vacant over the weekend we visited. The park internet was excellent for streaming in the late afternoon, but not as users increased. Despite my initial misgivings, there are a lot of things I like about the facility. As the name implies, this was an excellent waypoint in our journey.
