Large sites, easy access. FHU, picnic table and fire ring. Firewood for sale on site. Staff friendly and helpful.

Quiet, secluded campground next to the Catawba river. Hosts very friendly and helpful. Crushed stone driveways and pads, some shade trees at most sites. Hiking paths. Large DVD library to borrow from at the office. Many long-term residents, but everyone's friendly. Close to many Blueridge Parkway attractions.

Less than a mile from the beach. Clean, secure, but neighborhood is a little rough. Pool needs some love. Full hookups + cable + pretty decent WiFi.

9/8/2019 - We loved this place. Been to Disney many times, but this was our first Fort Wilderness. Everything clean and Disney-like. The one criticism would be the internal access to sites. Every road is pretty tight and backing in can be tricky for big rigs. Disney should spend some money and open up some new areas for >40ft rigs. We rented a golf cart and were glad we did - much fun. We also rented the small power boat on the lake, also fun. Inside transportation is easy with all the buses and ferry's. Be sure to go to the beach at night for fireworks.

This casino is recently rebuilt. It used to have dedicated RV spots, but does not at this time. Security stated they are planning on installing them in the future. Large, well-lit parking lot. We parked overnight at the north side of the parking lot with 3 other RV's. Reasonably level at that end and quiet. Staff friendly and helpful.

9/11/2019 - We stayed for five days and relaxed. We did go to the spring - it was cold, but got used to it quickly. Great fun and very different. Pull thru sites with full hookup. There are other sites that do not have sewer. Road inside the park is a little rough. Town of Williston is close with a decent grocery store and a few restaurants. Very quiet at night. However, they don't seem to enforce their posted rule of "No Pets". Not that we care, but there were dogs at several sites in plain view. Not sure why they have the rule... The town of Micanopy is also a close drive. An older, quintessential Florida town with several antique/craft stores and a nice cafe for lunch.

We had to cut our stay here short since we needed to get away from Hurricane Dorian - the staff was very friendly and accommodating. It's an ok KOA, could use some love, lots of permanent residents. Close to Cape Canaveral and I-95.

10/9/2019 - We stayed here an extended time and moved sites once so the site owner could get a contractor in to do some work. Very clean and well maintained resort. Plenty of room. Site amenities depend on how much the owner has done, some basic, some elaborate. Not all owners allow renting. We were there in the off season, so lots to choose from and not may others there. It fills up in winter I'm sure. Good access to area services and attractions. Right next to the resort is the trolley station you can take to the beach - recommended since driving and parking down there is painful. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful small campground with 9 well-maintained sites. Lots of boats to watch and some nice sunsets. We've now camped at both ends of the waterway!

9/7/2019 - We arrived and picked our site. Park was only about 1/2 full. Park is large, many sites to choose from. Pool looked nice, didn't use it. Site condition was adequate. Pads are narrow and need resurfacing. Utilities were good.
