Cove Creek was a great RV park! It is 15-20ish minutes outside of Pigeon Forge but it was worth it. The views of the Smokies were beautiful. All of the facilities were very clean and well taken care of. If you book a concrete spot, there are very tight. We were in spot 89 by the pond it was a huge spot. The gravel spots along the creek were had more room than the concrete spots but the creek does flood in heavy rains so just be aware. Oh the the food truck park by the gas station is AMAZING!!

This KOA is huge! It has so many site options. Everything was clean and the staff was great. You can rent their building for parties and events. The provide tables, chairs, and access to their kitchen. We had a huge pull through spot in the back by the Water Weld but it did not bother us. We have stayed here many times since we are from the area and will be back.

DO NOT GO IN THE CASINO ENTRANCE!! The have an entry way now that is only 12' 6'' so make sure to take the side road BEFORE you get to the casino. If you miss the first road, go all the way down past the rest area and take the road between the gas station and the rest area, take a right, and then another right at the first road. This will take you all the way down to the back of the casino and into the truck/rv parking lot. Other than that, Southland was the perfect spot for an overnight stop. We parked in the VERY back of the lot so that we were away from truckers. We arrived around 7pm and it was still pretty vacant. We arrived home at midnight from the casino and there was still so much room around us and in the parking lot. I felt safe since the security guard drives around all night.

We loved this RV park but dang it was expensive. We had a discount code so it was only $80/night but most spots range from $75-$125 a night. This is a normal price for this area and time of year. You also get what you pay for at RV parks so it was worth the money. The resort is wonderful if you have kids. They have all the amenities you could imagine. They do lots of activities for kids, most are free but some you have to pay for. We paid the extra fee to get the spot we wanted because it was on concrete. Most spots are gravel rock. The pool was nice and clean as well as all the showers and bathrooms. Staff was great. Overall a wonderful weeks stay!

We enjoyed our time at Wilson's. There are a lot of negative reviews but we were not bothered by some of the complaints we read. Yes, there is a 180 degree turn to get in. They tell you that in your check in instructions that are emailed to you. Our rig is almost 48' and we just turned around at the RV Office/RV Repair office and it was fine. Yes, there is a lot of road noise but it really didn't bother us and since we use our AC fan at night, it never woke us up. Yes, there is a public walking/biking trail that goes through the middle of the park but we loved it. It was a great trail to walk the dogs on and ride our bikes into town for coffee. The camp host and owner (the son I think) were so accommodating. We booked a 2 weeks stay in Spot 18 and it was so beautiful and right on the river. Then, our jobs needed us two more months and they were able to find a spot for us. We moved to Spot 9 and it was louder since it was closer to the road but again, it didn't bother us. No, there are not any amenities, which is stated on their website. We drove around to the other RV Parks in town, looking for a two month spot but we did not like what we saw. I am so glad we stayed.
