We stayed on the river RV side of the resort and the stay was nice and peaceful. The river was in view of our site and it made it even better! The most important part we want to mention is their outstanding customer service! We have traveled all over the US along the South and Midwest and have not encountered better customer service post covid, than here. Many people lately just do the bare minimum, but here in Ouray, they go beyond expectation to ensure you are happy. We would recommend 100%! We plan to stay here in June again.

We only stayed one night and it was gorgeous and peaceful. It was raining, so the creek runs and you can’t get in or out of the park when that happens. Camp hosts were friendly and knowledgeable. We would love to have more time here and will definitely visit this park again. Reviews said there was verizon service and no t-mobile. We have a WeBoost, Verizon hotspot, and tmobile as cell provider. Verizon hotspot was 0 and tmobile was 4 bars of 4glte, as long as we were right up on the receiver. We were in site 32.

We enjoyed our stay here and would stop here again. It was peaceful and the river was flowing quickly August 13, 2022. Campground was relatively clean. We got a few large mosquitos bites even during the day. A couple of potholes on the road in, but did just fine with 30’ Airstream.

It appears that based on other reviews and our attempt to stay here, that August is not the time to be here. It is extremely buggy here. August 18, 2022. The road in was decent, but the water smelled a bit fishy (we didn’t want to stick our feet in it) and there were too many bugs to even want to exit the tow vehicle to locate a spot. We chose to pay $33 and visit Massacre Rocks State Park instead (substantially less bugs). It is roughly 4 miles away and has electric and water hookups. I gave 3 stars because maybe it’s just the time of the year. We would not mind trying Pipeline Campground again, as long as it is not in August.

Booking online was very easy. Checked online first to see what was available, drove through and checked the spots available to make sure how and if we would fit. Site 23 was perfect for our 30’ Airstream and 25’ F250. We could stay attached, as we are only here 1 night. Lots of grasshoppers in August and the river didn’t seem inviting to play in. 50 amp and water, with a dump station nearby. We still give it 5 stars because it was quiet and you can’t hear the freeway. The camp host was excellent and informative. The visitor’s center was nice and provided good history about the massacre. We would definitely stay here again.
