Nice level site in this National Forest campground with gravel roads, clean and well maintained vault toilets. Make sure you stop at one of the hydrants to fill your RV fresh water. No frills at the site, however a nice newer table and fire ring. The host was exceptional, very friendly and accommodating.
I used this camp as my home camp for visiting the Grand Tetons and the Jackson Hole, Victor-Dillon area.
Road off the highway was gravel and in pretty good shape. A little intimidating for pulling a 32' fifth wheel, but arrived and departed with no issues. I used Google to get me here and it was reasonably close.

Stopped here on the way to wyoming. No trailer just us but it was quiet and beautiful. Camp hosts were great. Showed up late at night and they happily pointed me too the nearly open site!
Down a long wash board road. Would be find for trailers.

We had a lovely time here. Especially enjoyed seeing the moose and rafting the Snake River. We are a big rig (42' MH w/ 20' car hauler), the turn in was tight but doable. Definitely scout ahead via satellite or ??? to see what way is the best to drive in to your campsite. The campsite itself was nearly perfectly level. The nesting osprey behind our site was a bonus, as were the yellow warblers checking out our window/s; definitely lots of birds here: raptors, water fowl, and song birds. fyi- Site 15 (it is a double site ($$)) has wonderful access to the river and a view of the mountains, and not much shade if you're using solar. Site 18 had a bit much shade for our solar, (side note: site 19 was good for solar). Booster did not change our cell phone (ATT) much about 10 down and 6 up with or without booster; Verizon seemed to get bogged down no matter what.

Clean restrooms. No showers or dump. Water is good. Beautiful Falls. Large private sites. Great host. Potholes getting to park just take it slow.

2 miles from the hwy. Half paved, the other is dirt/gravel. Right after the cattle guard it's wash boarded but not for long. Easy road to drive on with a class A. Tight thru the campground, would suggest removing your toad before entering the CG. Plenty of sites, a few first come, first serve. Should come early to get fcfs. Camp host was very friendly, clean park. Most importantly for some of us is it has good cell service. About an hour and a half from Grand Teton NP, 45 minutes to Idaho Falls, 30 minutes to Victor.

Large spacious sites, very private. The road is a little rough getting in, but totally doable if you take it slow. The road near the Falls was crowded on the day we came in, the rest of the week it wasn’t very crowded. I typically don’t use the public facilities but since there’s no hookups and we were camping 5 nights, I decided to be adventurous and was pleasantly surprised. Super clean and well stocked! Highly recommended to anyone looking for a place in the area.

We were looking for an overnight while on the way to Montana. This campground sits along the banks of the Snake River, and has reasonable access to the Palisades Reservoir. You will find it about 2 miles off of US 26 northwest of Irwin, ID. Access is fine although about half of the distance is on gravel.
The sites are reservable on Rec.gov but we found an available site for the night. Previous reviews suggested that they were all FCFS. The campground has several sites specifically for 2 and 3 RV’s. There is a boat launch nearby for those who want to float the Snake River.
A short hike towards the group area gives access to the river. My short walk was rewarded with a young moose browsing at the rivers edge.

Generator hours are 6 am-10 pm. Our redneck neighbor took advantage of every minute. Other than that, nice campground.

The campground was full or reserved, but for one spot. Camp host Don saw me wandering through and directed me to 13, which he said is sometimes missed because it’s in the middle of the loop. There was no view of the water from my spot. You’ll find a wide trail by spot 17 that winds to the water.
Pit toilets were clean. You can fill water jugs.
It was busy (kids circling on bikes, someone singing Lee Greenwood, a far generator this morn, laughter among groups) but not overly noisy. Not for those who want solitude.

We enjoyed our stay here and would stop here again. It was peaceful and the river was flowing quickly August 13, 2022. Campground was relatively clean. We got a few large mosquitos bites even during the day. A couple of potholes on the road in, but did just fine with 30’ Airstream.
