The setting around this campground is breathtaking. We stayed here because it was about midway between Horseshoe Bend and the Four Corners monument. The campground was clean, the staff was friendly, my kids enjoyed the playground. We wish we would have had more time to spend here exploring the area. We’d definitely return to this campground again. The cell service in the area is terrible, which in a place like this is to be expected. The WiFi worked, but was also a little sluggish. If you had to do work online from this location, that might be challenging.

Fantastic overnight stay location right off of interstate 44. Staff was extremely friendly, campsite was clean and pet friendly with many locations to exercise our dog. Wi-fi was wicked fast and reliable. There are some stores and fuel stations nearby for essentials you might had forgotten like I had... :). We were very happy with our stay, and would come back again if our future travels bring us to the area.

We stayed here overnight on the way home during a long trip. The folks were super friendly, and the campground nice and clean. Our site was pretty level, hookups were placed well for our trailer. The campground is very close to the interstate, and was also about 10 minutes to a Walmart and some fast food restaurants. We’d definitely stay here again if we’re in the area.

Extremely convenient and close to I-40, easy to hop off and back on. Fuel station close by. Not much else around though. Some of the laundry appliances were out of order creating a crowding issue. Wi-fi wasn't great, cellular data service/speed was better. The dog area is just a dirt area at the edge of the campground. The playground could use some love too. Overall, this isn't a bad spot for a short stay, but for the price paid, I felt it was a little lacking. We'd probably try to find another place to stay if we were traveling through again in the future.

We arrived after hours after a ridiculously long drive. Our checkin info was labeled and easy to follow to our site for the night. We were able to locate our site on our own without any trouble. The site was level and large enough for us to situate our truck and trailer well for hooking up and opening the slide without any trouble. There is a fuel station just down the street.

We stayed here overnight on a long trip. The staff was friendly, and the campground relatively clean. The pool was nice in the evening of the 100+ degree day.

It’s early in the season, so the campground is fairly empty, which was really nice. When I made the reservation, I was told that they would still be in the early phases of opening up the campground, the store wouldn’t be open much if at all, pools were closed, etc., so I knew what to expect when we arrived. Self check-in was simple, site was easy enough to find. Great view of the lake, peaceful and scenic. I’m not sure what it’s like here during peak season, but it was perfect for our needs these couple of days.

We stayed overnight here because it was close to I-70. The campground was clean, and the staff was nice. The view was beautiful. Might be a little expensive for what you get, but for the convenience to the highway and ability to get in and out with no fuss, I was ok with the price. The site was level, had convenient locations for all of the hookups including multiple sewage locations in the event your rig has front or rear outlets (or both).

This campground is good for visiting Mount Rushmore, Custer state park and Crazy Horse. The location feels very private. There was no cell service (Verizon) in the park. The WiFi worked sporadically, but most of the time didn’t. The pool is very small, only large enough to accommodate maybe 5-10 people at a time. Mini-golf was fun, and the playground was great for the kids. We encountered low voltage alerts (less than 104 volts) with our surge protector, causing it to disconnect from campground power regularly. The site was easy to back into, and the campground easy enough to navigate with our truck & trailer. The roads coming in from every direction are tight, windy and hard to see on. Driving to this campground is not for the faint of heart. You need to be sure to use their prescribed routes on the website instead of your GPS. If we were to visit the area again, we would probably find another campground that was easier to get to.

This campground was perfect for our overnight stay as part of a longer adventure. The staff were extremely nice helping us to our site and getting us all set up. The campground was quiet and clean. Would definitely stay again if our travels brought us nearby in the future. There is no wi-fi or cable, if that is important to you, but for our stay it didn't matter, and cell service / cellular data speeds were adequate for our needs.
