As New Jersey residents this is a close campground for us to get away for a weekend. It's a nice campground with average services. Being here in early April it was especially quiet and being our first stay can't speak to how this might be in the middle of July. We'll definitely come here again over the summer.

Sites are well kept and fairly clean, again it's early in the season so this may be even better in the coming months. The only issue we had was that the sewer connection was buried and we had to clear a lot of dirt to get to the screw-on top. Other than that, no issue with the site.

Verizon wireless service was incredibly slow. Although, the speed was considerably better on my LTE equipped iPad mini as opposed to an iPhone XR. Streaming movies via the iPad directly or using the hotspot feature was ok. I didn't ask if WiFi was available and didn't see anything about WiFi availability on any of the paperwork we received at check-in (Perhaps I missed it?), however, having just checked the Thousand Trails listing WiFi is available for a fee ($4 p/day). We'll try the WiFi next time.

All in all, a good stay and we look forward to going back.More

Very nice campground with level sites. As Thousand Trails members this campground isn't in our zone, nor is it part of the upcharge "Trails Program". As a result, we decided to add the southern zone to our plan and are glad we did. Being there in late April we were part of a small group of RV's in the full hook up area. The sites are level but grassy, there's some gravel on the drive up area but it's barely noticeable. As campers are aware, grassy sites are incredibly messy and unpleasant during the wet season, and it's been raining A LOT in the area as well as during our stay. That said, there is a solid concrete pad with a clean picnic table. The staff indicated they're working on adding gravel to more sites. Time will tell on that.

Be forewarned, This campground is 10 miles from RT.13 and another 5+ miles to services so if you need things, or if you're arriving late, catch the Super Walmart on 13 before heading to the campground. To their credit, the campground called the morning of our arrival to ask for approximate arrival time. At that time, they told us about the distance to stores/services. Also, it was suggested to keep speeds down and eyes open on the road leading to the campground (Upshur) as there's a lot of wildlife in the area. This is good advice as we saw many deer and turkey running around.

The staff is very pleasant to deal with and very helpful when needed. There was a tornado watch in effect during our stay, they called to inform us and to take the proper precautions in the event the watch becomes a warning.

No issues with the water/electric/sewer systems. The TT website indicates they have WiFi, I didn't see anything listed in the available WiFi networks and I didn't inquire. Verizon Cell and Data services worked well with 2-3 bars at all times.

In the end, we're glad we stayed here and will definitely go back, this is a nice campground and is worth the trip.

As Thousand Trails members, this park is in our region and we weren't disappointed with our stay. Our site (129) was a fairly level site in the middle of the park. Access to most areas of Cape Cod is pretty easy as you're not far from either MA-28 or US-6. Be forewarned, the nearest Walmart is 40+ miles away, however, there is a great ACE hardware store about 1.5 miles from the campground with a good RV supply section and the folks working the store are very helpful. The only problem we had was the internet service. WiFi is provided by Camplink and it's pretty pathetic quite honestly. While I don't mind paying for WiFi if it's available, I HATE paying for bad service. There were a lot of interruptions and the speeds were ridiculously slow (12Mb/s down, at best. 5Mbps up). The only reason we decided to try it was because we were having trouble with Verizon cell service on occasion. Other than the WiFi issue, we'd stay here again.

Tip: If you're bothered by neighboring music during the day, choose a site other than site 129. Great music, incredibly nice neighbor but during the day he likes his music. We weren't bothered by it at all but others might be.

This campground is ok for us as we're not too far away in New Jersey and, being Thousand Trials members, makes for a decent base to explore the area and get away for a couple of days. That said, if we traveled a long way to get here, we wouldn't have been happy. Our site was a mix of stone and dirt and made for messy setup as it rained earlier in the week. Also, while I know many have drain hose supports that would have helped in this situation, we don't and the sewer drain connection is so high off the ground it takes a lot of pressure to empty the drain hose. Even with lifting the hose from the RV connection to the sewer pipe, it left enough behind that when we disconnected the drain hose from the RV a bunch of gray water came running out the RV drain pipe.

The park is a quiet place to park the RV for a few days and explore.

PS: If you're in the area, find your way to Phoenicia and Brios' restaurant for the sesame crust pizza. Excellent stuff...

This is our first experience with this campground and would definitely stay here again. There are a lot of upgrades happening here and it shows. Many new cabins are being built, and the bathroom/bath house is new and very clean. We have a class B van and had no trouble getting into our spot, the water pressure was good and the provided WiFi from our spot (Site 2) was good. Rates in early summer 2023 were $55 on weekdays and $75 on weekends.

There are only two downsides to this campground. 1) It's a small park and they can only accept small rigs. As van owners, this works for us. The statement on their page about only accepting small rigs (Vans/truck campers) is justified. Not only is it a small park but maneuvering through the park would be tight for anything larger than a large truck camper. We did see a popup at a site and I can see that working ok, but anything larger than a teardrop would be difficult to maneuver. 2) No dump station. Fortunately, we have a cassette and this isn't a big problem for us but having a location to dump the gray water and cassette would be VERY helpful as small rigs have small tanks and need to dump more often.

In the end, we'd DEFINITELY stay here again.

We called on a Monday to see if they had availability for the night. The reservation process couldn't have been easier and the phone attendant couldn't have been nicer. A very reasonable $40 for the night for a water/electric site. There are many sites here that appear to be level, unfortunately, ours had a bit of a slope and we couldn't get 100% level but it was manageable. The park is incredibly clean and well laid out with plenty of space between sites. The bathrooms were very clean and, while we didn't use them, from what we could see the showers were clean. We're here to visit the Harley Davidson museum and would definitely stay at this park again.

We're Thousand Trails members, as such, our rate was zero.

This campground does a good job of maintaining the grounds and was always kind and helpful. Water pressure was good, electric worked fine, cable TV wasn't crisp and clean but TV isn't a big deal to us, so, we didn't think much about it. Cell phone connection was pretty good. Strangely, my LTE tablet was fine, however, my phone had trouble in certain spots inside the RV and could only get one bar and dropped data connections. Never had a problem with the tablet. I don't know if they have WiFi and forgot to ask so I can't speak to that feature. We'd definitely stay here again. The only criticism I have is, and this is somewhat new for us, is the charge for propane was very high. I realize they don't sell a lot and need to upcharge, however, with the national average being in the $2.50 range, I paid over $4.00 per gallon. As it turns out, they charge a flat fee to refill a tank that's either empty or half full. As both my 30lb tanks were empty, my per gallon price was very low at $59 to fill both tanks as each tank took over 7 gallons to fill. If my tanks were half-full, the price obviously doubles. That said, it was incredibly convenient to be able to refill the tanks right at the campground. Trade-offs, I know.

An incredibly nice campground near Bar Harbor and Acadia. The grounds are very well kept and the sites are level. We had a couple of nights of very heavy rain and the site is maintained properly with the right amount of gravel preventing it from getting muddy. This was a big plus. The only downside, and it isn't a big one for us, you're near the airport and occasionally hear planes. Also, from our site, not far from the main office, you can hear traffic going by. This was surprising to us because we were pretty far from the main road. Thankfully, there isn't a lot of traffic and it didn't bother us.

We're not big TV watchers but like to test everything while we're on site. Cable TV worked very well. WiFi was good, but...... It seemed to drop on occasion and while we didn't have any trouble streaming movies, browsing the internet was difficult as the speeds were VERY slow. Using Speedtest.net I was seeing download speeds only as high as 5mbps and as low as 0.56mbps. There are multiple Wifi connections available and we were always connected to the strongest signal available.

Other than the WiFi issue, we definitely recommend this campground.

We also highly recommend the Sugar Bakery across the street. The blueberry pie is outstanding. Be aware, if you're late risers, like us, they close at 2:00.

Lastly, just as an FYI, as we're Thousand Trails members, the rate was great. However, be aware, TT members do not have access to their premium waterfront sites. They can be purchased at a 20% discount using the TT credits.

Four Mile Creek State Park is a very well run, and clean campground. Spent a long weekend here and had a really nice stay. As only electric is available at the sites we used the shower facilities a couple of days (A first for us) and weren't disappointed. The showers could use more hooks for hanging clothes/towels but were fine otherwise. We'd stay here again.

Would be nice to see NYS add water to the sites as well as electric if possible. Sewer is easy to live with but water is tough if you run out.

TIP: If possible pick a spot in the 200 section near the water. The views of the lake from that section are very nice.

As Thousand Trails members, we've stayed at several TT campgrounds and most of them are good, however, this campground really shines and is what most people hope for when pulling up to a TT park. The campground is well groomed, the staff is very professional and the sites are spaced out very well with a site to suit anyone's needs. They offer both an indoor and outdoor pool, covered miniature golf and a video arcade as well as being on a river.

Sadly, the Verizon signals here are not very strong. We both had two bars on our phones. WiFi is available for a fee but we didn't try it out. The campground does offer hotspots near the pool house, and possibly other spots but we didn't try those services either. We had a fantastic time here and will DEFINITELY come back.

It doesn't hurt that you're in the heart of Amish country and all it has to offer. Definitely, don't miss this park. Very nice.
