We stayed here for 3 nights & really enjoyed our stay. Gravel spots with a concrete pad for the picnic table. New bathrooms & showers. There is a very nice paved walking/running/biking path that joins the Columbus Riverwalk. We will definitely stay here again.

Mr. Presley is a fantastic host. He put us in a lake view spot just past the restaurant. We throughly enjoy the 2 days there & will definitely be back. I grew up in the area & forgot how nice Presleys is.

We stayed here for work for 2 nights & I absolutely would not stay here again. The spaces are so tight no way to put your awning out & we couldn’t park our van next to it so we had to park down the hill behind our travel trailer. It is 80% or more full timers & a lot of the rv’s are old & need work. Yes it is close to the interstate but look around there are other options.

We have stayed here twice & it is clean & most sights shaded. The sites are gravel & long. The staff is always out working to keep it clean. We will definitely stay here again.

We come to this area every 6 months for work. This is the third time we have stayed at Flint River Campground and every time we are told that it’s under new ownership and it will be better. This is the third time and nothing has improved. I’m not sure what the property manager does every day but cleaning up the sites & mowing isn’t part of his routine. The grass is at least two weeks tall & the full timers RV’s look awful. One site has the grass cut only because he has his own lawnmower. We paid 47 a night & it is definitely not worth it. I’ve learn we can stay in Tallahassee and drive a little bit farther, but stay at an incredibly nicer campground.
Don’t stay here. Nicer places are just a little further away.

We stayed here for 5 days originally we had booked for 6 nights but paid for the weekly rate of $280 because it saved us money. We were working in the area so this R.V. park ( not resort) met our needs based on previous reviews. We were in site 13. When we arrived the office said we had a great site with shade so I was pleased to hear this until we got to our site & found that the tree limbs hung down & drug the top & side of our travel trailer. We had two decisions to make either park at the back of the site closer to the services & not have any shade or park under the tree to utilize the shade & have to deal with the branches brushing the top, slide & awning. We decided to utilize the shade. We actually cut some of the branches so it wasn’t constantly brushing against us. We also had ant mounds on the gravel & grass near the site. I understand it takes a lot to maintain these rv parks but it’s the details that makes people decide on whether they will return.

Pros: it’s a clean rv park. The person in charge of cleaning the bathroom & laundry room does a fantastic job.
The sites are gravel & have a good bit of room between each other.
It seems everyone keeps to themselves so we felt safe.

Cons: the person in charge of maintenance of the grounds needs to step it up. The sites need trimming. We didn’t use the fire pit but if we had we would have had to cut the tall grass away first. So trimming of shrubs, not weed eating around sites, fire pits etc. no one makes sure each site is ready for the next guest. We had to go buy home defense to combat the ants.
WiFi was awful. We had version cell service & it was ok. We did use the cable & it was good.
As far as a resort there is a pool for swimming but that doesn’t make it a resort.
I would say for an overnight stop it would be ok but if you think it’s a resort with lots to do it’s not.
It is probably 90% full timers & they actually keep there sites neat for the most part there are always a few that could improve there areas.

I probably wouldn’t come back unless it was my only option. It’s the small details that make an ok rv park a great rv park.
