Tallahassee RV Park

IMO the May 12, 2015 review for 1 star is in accurate. The review WAS nearly 2 years ago. My family and I stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights while traveling for the summer this year and it was great. The grounds were spotless, the grass and plants were very well maintained. There is some lack of shade near the front of the property but the back property sites have plenty. The staff was very helpful and attentive and there is WiFi, laundry, and a pool. We were here for July the 4th and they had a big BBQ for all. I would recommend this stop for anyone looking to check out the Tallahassee area for an extended period of time or just passing through. Ill be giving it 5 stars.

Very deceptive. Ground are nice enough but campsites lack any grass and very little shade. Tall pines too close to put awning out. Internet patchy. Not worth the price.

Very neatly kept, I was impressed when I saw the gravel pads being raked after a RV departure. The trees were beautiful and provided lots of shade. The road was smooth. Covid checkin was fast and host walked up to my truck with all my materials. Just a few miles to shopping (Walmart). Interstate close but not too. This area of Tallahassee is very nice suburban with good local roads. Good AT&T cell service.

Better late than never to write a review. I got the E-mail of Campendium campgrounds and recognized this right away. Nice stop over for one night on my way to Arizona in January 2019. Long level pull thru for my 36 foot coach towing my utility trailer. I'd stay here again. It's just about a day from where I live in SW Florida.

We were on the overnight part of a two-day run. The staff was friendly. We didn't use the facilities. The one-night stop sites are pull thru and re long but very narrow. The site was pea gravel. No grass. The campground was clean and well kept. Easy on and easy off I-10. Verizon was four bars LTE.

We pulled in for a quick overnight stay on a long road trip. The park seemed very clean and well maintained. The showers and bathrooms are nice. Water and electric hookups are very close to the ground. Some construction next door that may be annoying if you're staying to hang out at the RV park. Only complaint was how hard it was to get through on the phone to make my reservation - be persistent! The staff is very nice.

Nice campground close to I10, shopping and restaurants.Gentleman who took my reservation over the phone was very nice and helpful. The sites are gravel, very level. Many pull thrus. Sites are close together. We have a tiny trailer but sites are full hook up and can fit larger rigs. Cable TV and Wi-Fi. We were in site 1, right next to the restrooms, common room and laundry. Restrooms are singles with showers and toilet. Nice and clean. They have a great common room that has TV, games, books, piano, a nice kitchen too. It's decorated with trophy animals. I liked it but may not appeal to some. Laundry reasonably priced $1.50 wash $1 dry. The grounds are beautiful and well groomed. A cute cat was wandering around. We normally stay at state parks so the price, $51with military discount was higher than we usually pay. Overall very nice campground.

We were passing through and waiting out a storm. Tallahassee RV was perfect for that. We arrived after hours but Brad made sure we were all set. Easy access from I10. Very nice, helpful staff. Clean campground though sites are quite close together. We never got the cable TV to connect but we are newbies so we may have been the problem.

There is a large construction site next door, which resulted in quite a bit of noise. Once the building is completed, I think the park will be peaceful.

We came in with the intent to only stay for the night but one of our dogs got sick suddenly and we ended up staying four nights. The staff did the best they could to accommodate us and not to move sites. I will definitely stay in this park again if we find ourselves in Tallahassee.

Nice campsites, great location, very clean and quiet campground. When in the area would definitely return.
