Small well maintained camp spot. Very quiet and rarely even saw other campers!

While it’s full hookup there really isn’t any other amenities with this park which makes the $55 a night a hard pill to swallow.

We travel full time and when we pay this much normally there is a laundry room, bathroom, dog park, etc.

It was a last minute decision to come and they were one of the few places to stay that was “open” from trees so our satellite internet would function for work - which is why we did it reluctantly with the price.

There was a house behind our spot which had dogs outside that barked at us every time we left our camper. Would greatly benefit from a privacy fence!

I would only call a few sights “big rig friendly”. We have a 39ft 5th wheel and had to park our truck tight up against it sideways to stay in the spot.

The owners were a very SWEET couple and even gave us homemade dog treats for our pups which was a sweet gesture.

We fell IN LOVE with the town of Custer & the state park! It was quaint and charming - the epitome of small town America! If it was not cold 10 months of the year we’d never leave!!

Absolutely terrible experience.. I read the previous reviews and was ok with a tight spot and no dump station - just wanted a spot to stop and work for a few days on our way to our next spot. We stayed one night and it was MISERABLE!

The people in the camper next to us partied RIGHT outside our camper from 5pm until 12am. We live in our RV full time and have never experienced anything like it!!! 15+ people drinking and having a full on party 2 feet from our bedroom window with zero regard for anyone else around.

We payed for 4+ days and left first thing the next morning. We would have left in the middle of the night if we could have found somewhere else to stay.

Also - the water is chained up and when we asked it was an additional $5 to fill up.

MAYBE this was random and a one off where we drew the short straw but - there is no refunds & nobody on staff on the weekends… so on that note we would NOT recommend in any regard - pay the money to stay somewhere else even if it is a stopping point for your next destination!

Road in and out is bit bumpy but the spot and views are worth it!

Great peaceful campspot that’s free if you’re set up for boondocking!

We would most certainly stay again! Felt safe and the people near definitely had a “local families camping” vibe!

The spots are huge, each with their own little fence!

Water pressure is great and the power never had issues. They had donuts or Saturday morning and a bad playing in the pavilion at night - such thought out in to giving a good experience!

They drag the roads daily as well as water (so they lie even and don’t have dust flying everywhere) IT was awesome!!

They even came around regularly to blow the leave out of our sites (as it’s that time of year where they’re dropping like crazy!)

Their fenced dog area has so many toys and obstacles - my big dogs loved it!!

Theirs a creek onsite which my dogs also loved!!!

Lots of mosquitos - but that’s just the time of year and area.

Wi-Fi was so good we didn’t need to use our Starlink! And I work full time on zoom calls constantly! Also ran streaming services without ever buffering.

The RV Park Is Mostly Dirt And I Would NOT Call It Dog Friendly… They Have Grass Areas With (no Dog Signs)

I think it’s a cool stop if your planning to just hang out here but if you want to go to bend or do any other activities in the area it’s a bit to far out of the way!

Pretty reasonably priced though and they allow the non full hookups to dump at open hook up sites so that’s nice!

Loved this little gem! The manager was so friendly and kind!!

LOTS of grass for the dogs!! Even had a little “island” where they were allowed to be off leash and in the river - they absolutely loved it and honestly we did to!

The little office had camping supplies which was so nice to not have to run to Walmart just for RV toilet paper!

Spots were really close together though and someone put out their slide and it was a literal inch from ours!!! So be mindful if you have a big rig!

Plenty of spots that were all spaced out!

There is not to much around it so make sure you stop at the store before making your way in.

Pretty tall trees so not great for satellite for my full timers that work out of the camper - drive in to hot springs to work two days!

They are short staffed and the places is slightly unkept landscape wise - if that’s something that would bother you.

For a weekend at the lake though this place is perfect and you can’t beat the price! Hot Springs is about an hour away and has great restaurants/activities!

We’d definitely come back if we didn’t need to work while here!

We travel full time in our 39ft 5th wheel and stopped here for the week on our way north so we could work!

Immaculately maintained grounds and beautiful lake with a beach area. Over spots with fire pits, picnic tables and ours even had a awning cover over our table.

Bathroom were okay - Not the cleanliest but the place was also packed!

Definitely a “local spot” for the summer! Locals were super friendly and welcoming though.

Our satellite worked ok with the trees - some other spots had no trees and it would have worked great so just scout the map if you need the satellite.

Quick drive in to Lincoln and about an hour to Omaha.

Overall if we ever found ourselves in Nebraska again we’d stay here another time. Definitely think it’s worth the price compared to a lot of places we’ve been for full hookup!

We stayed while visiting Yellowstone! It’s about 17 minutes to the north entrance and it FREE right on the river! The river noise drowned out any generator noise so we didn’t bother us and we couldn’t here theirs either! We have a 39ft 5th wheel and almost all the spot would have accommodated us. This spot had a “host” which we’ve never seen at a dispersed camping area plus a bathroom! Host was very sweet and checked on us middle of our stay just to make sure we were happy. The Mountain View’s are pretty great and so much space fore our dogs! (just be cautious of ground cactuses) Overall fabulous experience and we’d 100% stay again!

Do NOT stay Here If You have A Big Rig. The Dirt Roads Are Absolutely Terrible!! They are not dragged or maintained AT ALL. They Also Lead You To Your Spot (which My Husband Hates - He Prefers To Park How It’s Easiest For Him - being a truck driver VS Someone Telling Him) The roads made you feel like the suspension on your vehicle would just fall out everytime you left and came back.

The “one Way” Out Was 10 Times As Steep And Uneven/slated Road So We Went Out In The Entrance Road.

Looks As Though 90% Are Residence.

Additionally, If You Have Dogs There Is Not A Single Place For Them To Hang Out / Use The Bathroom Or Be Off Leash. Which is insane when there’s a pet fee.

The Power Station Was Terrible - We Could Only Run One AC And Then Would Still Have To Turn Off To Use The Microwave - It Tripped Atleast Once A Day Which Was Worrisome For Our Animals So We Never Stayed Gone To Long.

The Water Pressure Was Lack Luster At Best!

Overall Pay The Extra Money To Stay Somewhere Else. (Coming From A Full Time RV-we)
