Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on July 23, 2022Great view, nice grass area and amenities. Shower is pay-per-use. Spots are very close together with virtually no privacy. Propane-only fires.
Sites are gravel and uneven. Have to pay for a shower. WIFI is iffy at best in parts of park.
October 2021...Full hook ups private RV park with many full-timers. However everything was neat, tidy, and well taken care of...All gravel roads and pads. Great bathhouse and laundry in one common area by the office...But it is quite the walk from the rv spots to the bathhouse. Not a problem for self contained travel rigs. We did use the showers and they were good.
We really enjoyed this RV Park as it was far enough away from bustling Bend and close enough to the main highway with a few stores and restaurants (which we took advantage of). We went to a huge pumpkin patch/with harvest festival type of activities at Smith Rock Ranch. Definitely a highlight of my stay here in October.
Beautiful views and overlooks of the Crooked River Gorge and a few short hiking trails (Matt's Trail) right out of the campground. Great for dog walking. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. Our stay was in the Fall season and it can get blazing hot in the summer and extremely cold in the winter. Fall was perfect.

The RV Park Is Mostly Dirt And I Would NOT Call It Dog Friendly… They Have Grass Areas With (no Dog Signs)
I think it’s a cool stop if your planning to just hang out here but if you want to go to bend or do any other activities in the area it’s a bit to far out of the way!
Pretty reasonably priced though and they allow the non full hookups to dump at open hook up sites so that’s nice!

I'm confused about the previous review as we found the park to be well organized and friendly. However, it is a small and local driven area so could see where things could get edgy. The RV Park is actually on Hays Rd.
Here's the good, the bad, the ugly...
Sites are on top of each other, way too close. Very dusty but that's the area.
Cute little town site within walking distance has pool, cafe, saloon, local events. There was a 4th of July parade while we were there. Very locally cute.
The canyon the campground backs up to affords some hiking, albeit possibly risky for some less prepared people since there is no information provided. However the sunsets are nice from the camp viewpoint.
The laundry room is very nice.
Bathrooms clean and have showers
Very close to Smith Rock SP and Terrebonne.

I would give the park itself 4 stars. Staff are nice, and the park is just fine. But what really stood out for us were the excellent trails around the park. The park is situated on the top of a canyon that plunges down to the "Crooked River" that gives the park its name. Take an easy jaunt on the well-maintained path that runs along the top of the canyon and check out the beautiful views. For more ambitious hikers there is also a path that zigzags all the way down to the river.

The RV Park is nestled in the Crooked River Canyon-beautiful. The sites can be dusty since most are gravel but the loops have a common grassy area. They charge for showers $1.25/10 minutes. The bathrooms are closed from 12-2pm so plan accordingly. Dogs must be kept on leash at all times-there isn’t a dog area.

The park is in a very nice location on the crooked creek canyon with a beautiful golf course BUT be aware of the following. No bathrooms and laundry access due to COVID. We were not told this when we registered. The guys in the site next to us urinated outside all weekend. Our sewer connection was uphill and they ask you to keep your black and grey tanks open during your stay which is a no no for black tank...pyramiding anyone. The place generally had a negative vibe with lots of No’s and negative signs all over the park. The free wi-fi was non-existent even with a booster. However there was cell service with both ATT and Verizon.
