I wouldn't mind staying here again if it wasn't for the employees. I got there and the site was level, which wasn't too bad for being in a gas station parking lot. I think I would have rather been over by the big trucks that had their own parking lot in the back of the store. Check in is at 2pm, and I got there at 2:10pm. I had made my reservation 3 nights prior as I knew I was traveling through here. The kiosk is a 3 sided shed building at the driveway with a call button. No one answered so I went inside to check in. The employee at the gas station desk had not been trained on how to turn on the RV sites and was very nice and tried hard to get the utilities on at the site. I ended up having to go back in the store 3 more times trying to get the utility turned on. The other employees would get upset when I came back in and once said it will be one it takes time. Finally a few minutes before 3pm the power came on. The cover on the power post was broken and wanted to make sure they knew. I showed them a picture to make sure they knew before I got plugged in. I was directed to a guy that was doing the stocking and he said yeah don’t worry about it and walked off. I know it’s just a gas station, but it shouldn’t have been so hard to get the power turned on. The employees were rude. I don’t mind staying at a truck stop, I’ve done it many times. This location, I will never go to again if I don’t have to.

Friendly staff, nice and quiet except on weekends. Beautiful sandy beach for long walks. There is lots of shade. The full hook up sites are very spaced out with extra long driveways. Weekend was very crowded and loud. During the week the place is beautiful and quiet. The roads are paved. They don't mind busses and vans. Lots of 5th wheels and tents. Large group areas that are nicely set up. Water is shared between 2 sites, so make sure you have a long hose. Easy to walk dogs around especially on the long sandy Beach. There is one shower house with 3 shouwers and the water is cold. Tmobile was 110mps down and 12mps up, Verizon was 40 mps down and 7 mps up.

I was here in the off season and they were still pretty busy. Was nice and quiet. Sites were well taken care of and spacious. My site was very level, i was in #6. Bathrooms were clean with warm showers. Camp host came thru several times a day and always stopped if he saw you to make sure you didn't need anything or if you was enjoying your stay. Internet was spotty but if I didn't need it for work would definitely stay here again. Enjoyed my visit here.

This was a nice stay. Was quiet even though it was next to a busy road. Great bicycle trails and plenty of places to take dogs for a walk. Spent a lot of time on the bike trails, they were awesome. RV sites were very spacious. I was A03, and it was not level, but a few other spots were, not many. Backed up to the water with great scenery. The only reason for the 4-star is the showers. All showers did say closed for the winter. It was not until I was out for a bicycle ride and heard someone showering that I had found an open shower. Think the shower I checked in that building must have been out of order, but the sign said different, so I didn't check other showers. The showers were very clean and well kept with warm water in the shower on a push-button system. Wanted to stay another week but had somewhere to be. I use my internet for work and it was excellent service. T-Mobile Home internet was 5 bars with 97.4 mbp down and 42.2 mbps up. Verizon phone hotspot was 5 bars 5G with 65.4 down and 22.2 up.

Stayed here for 2 weeks. Unfortunately, they were working on the bathroom building at the rv section of the park. So, there was construction noise every day on the weekdays. On the weekends, the park is packed with families and fishermen. It is understandable as this is a public park with playgrounds. The rv section is not labeled, so if no rv's are there, it's easy to miss and drive by. I have a 35-foot bus and probably shouldn't have gone in here as there are small roads with steep hills and lots of tight turns. After hours is nice and quiet except for the constant traffic zooming thru all night. One night, there were vehicles doing donuts and throwing gravel. When people were there it wasn't loud. Everyone was respectful and nice. Even when there were large crowds, it wasn't loud at all. There is a really nice dog park on the other side of the park and it is a nice walk to get there. There are 3 trash cans for the 10 rv spots. They don't empty the can till you leave. The park is well kept and clean. This week, they have been cleaning up leaves and hauling them off. It's a nice stay, I just don't think I would stay as long next time. Internet was really good.
T-mobile Home Internet, 301 mbps download 20.1 upload with 4 bars. Verizon phone hitspot 3 bars 4g with 10 download and 1.2 upload. I stayed on wifi most of the time. The only sites semi level are 1 & 2.

There isn't a camp host, everything is done online either when you get here or ahead of time. The park is regularly patrolled by the park ranger. Each one we met was very nice and personable. Bathrooms/showers were clean except once when another camper trashed it, but was cleaned by next morning. The spots are close in sets of 2. One on either side of the power post. We rarely had anyone near us. Biking trail was very nice and well kept. There is dump and fresh water at the entrance. It's right on the river so makes for a great view first thing in the morning. It is gravel pads and most need a lot of leveling and is the onky reason I give a 4 star.

We stayed on the West loop. It was nice and quiet with lots of shade. We were right on the water with a great view. We were on spot W17 and W16, and both were so unlevel we maxes out our leveling blocks and still wasn't level. At least we had good chucks. Only reason I give it a 4 star. Internet was good. Tmoble home internet 3 bars 98 maps download and 12 maps upload. Verizon cell had 4 bars 5G.
