This is bare bones campground - no toilets or showers, rough gravel pads not super level, but with new electrical and water/sewer hookups. For $50 it was overpriced- $30 would have netted a star. It abuts a concrete plant and is off a short gravel road. The American Campground on the river is far nicer for the same fee. Kudos to the operator who was super responsive in getting back to me on reservation request.

It is close to town and easy to maneuver. We had power go out twice which I credit to a nearby lightning storm. If you need a quick in and out spot it will do but have lower expectations.

Second time staying here. RV stalls were great, solid water, sewer and power. Not perfectly level, but long enough for our 28’ trailer and 22’ truck. Clean restrooms and showers, and fire pits. No cell service, but Starlink was super strong reception. Quiet and beautiful, and the price is great. Only 29 min from town.

We stayed at the Resort sites which have basic hookups for water and power. Sites are lined up next to each other nothing special. The main attraction is the hot springs. It was crowded during the last visit and a bit pricey but still fun to soak and relax. A great hike is nearby with access to falls and creeks. Nice to visit and will likely return in the off season.

Why am I giving this place 5 stars? Simple - they got the important stuff right. Sites are level, hookups are easy (50 amp in my case), access is a breeze, staff is super friendly and helpful, the fees are reasonable and the view is awesome!

You hear some highway noise when outside but it is in a Valley next to a river so no surprise. Wi-Fi is ok, just average, but great cell reception. Restrooms include 2 showers ea for men and women and they are clean.

Would be happy to return. Town is close - walking distance, and not too many restaurants-3- but spot is perfect for a stopover.

I needed a local spot to test out my new Airstream and didn't have much luck with last minute reservations. Saw this neat place and rolled the dice. It's basically 12 or so back in sites located next to the parking lot of a picturesque local golf course. The have nice adjoining bathrooms with showers if you need them. The only issue is the sites are on a bit of an incline hill pointing down, and power and water hookups are at the rear. You may need a leveling blocks to get sufficient front to rear levels. Cle Elim is the next exit or two away, charming town with a great bakery and excellent meat market for grilling options! I enjoyed the Location, very quiet at night, and reasonably easy to back up the trailer.

Grabbed a spot on the way home on a 5k mile trip. The place was stellar - super level concrete pads with attention to detail (e.g. the sewer connections were lowered to ensure proper drainage). Shaded pull through (nice on a 100 degree day) sites. Excellent service and bathrooms so clean you could smell the disinfectant. This place sets a high bar. We didn’t use the pool or hot tub but they looked super clean and inviting.

Nothing fancy about this KOA, no pools, no activities, no shaded areas. But...pull throughs are nice and long, over 60 feet, it is super close to downtown Helena, the sites are clean and level, the caretaker is friendly and the WiFi is awesome. I’d stay here again for the sheer convenience.

My second stay in 2 years. Sites are just long enough and easy to access, very level. Super convenient to drive to downtown (8 min away), and despite bathrooms being closed due to COVID, still enjoyed the facility. Employees are friendly. Cell is adequate, WiFi not so much.

They have a 90psi water pressure so if your RV doesn’t have a pressure regulator you’ll want to buy on. The counter had a few for sale.

Love this place - we come back a few times each year. Easy to get to, sites are nice and long and level, great clubhouse with showers, activities and BBQ area. Sites 1-16 are right along the water, but back in only - they tend to prefer to let motorhomes and cab overs in these sites vs. trailers. Super close to Anacortes (2-3 mile walk or bike ride along a paved biking path) and convenient to Whidbey. Hookups are great, as its cable and very basic wifi. One of my favs.

Stayed one night traveling through Redding - this is great for a stopover. Nice long and level concrete pads, good WiFi, 50a service. Filled with new Class A and fifth wheels. Manager was super friendly and helpful.

Only three small nits -

1. No restrooms (they do have laundry)
2. Water pressure is high like 85lbs so you need a reducer
3. Train comes through 1-2 times at night with a horn, just enough to let you know it’s a train. Otherwise quiet.

Surrounding neighborhood is “in transition” - this doesn’t impact the park which is well lit and separate, but don’t let it stop you from staying- just know you’ll want to head into Redding for any groceries or meals

Waze has incorrect routing and sends you to the side of the property where you can’t enter. It’s off the main front road next to an RV service building.

Price is great - I’d easily stay again.
