Confirmed by 4 users | Last reported on November 01, 2023This RV park was a lot better looking than I expected. It's small, well kept, and there are trees throughout. The park is set back from the road, so when you first pull in it isn't clear where to go and if you're in the right place.
When we arrived, the camp hosts insisted on helping my husband back into our spot. I told them it wasn't necessary, but they kept insisting. Really, we'd prefer to park ourselves.
There isn't anywhere to walk here, except for around the RV Park (which is small). Most of the spots are occupied by people living here full-time. We only saw 2 other rigs come and go while we were here. It's also located next to train tracks, so there are horns blowing throughout the night.
Price reflects Good Sam discount.

The neighborhood seems to be one in transition. However, I was looking for a place to stay close to town because I was visiting family members. The campground is well-kept, with grass and trees between sites. There are cement pads to park on and they are level.
There appears to be a small pool, which wasn't open for the season. There is a laundry room.
When I called to make a reservation, it didn't get recorded properly. There was a bit of a delay in getting into my site. If you make a reservation, you might want to call back and verify it before you arrive.

Very nice and sweet manager. Unfortunately their rules makes the park suitable for 1 or 2 nights only as you are not allowed to get your rig washed and we had engine problems and they would not accommodate so far to allow a mobile mechanic to come and check it. The train is very loud and blowing the horn all day and through the night. There is a small pool and a bbq area and a laundry room (but no air condition and no sink) however...... it has a payphone 😁. Also there are no restrooms and no showers.

Sometimes it's just better to be lucky than good! We were going north from Sacramento and decided to stop in Redding, CA. So, we checked Campendium to see what was around. Based on the strength of the reviews, we gave them a call.
Donita (the manager) answered the phone and said they were full but asked us the size of our trailer (19' Airstream, pulled by an Xterra). She said she might have a site for a short rig available and to come by so she could check. Bingo, we fit!
This is a very clean RV park about 2 miles west of Interstate 5. It has many large shade trees, laundry (alas no showers), full hook-ups, level concrete pads, and a swimming pool. Just what we needed for the 106-degree temperatures that were happening with the NW heatwave.
The managers were very nice and helpful. The only negative was that the sites do not have any picnic benches on the sites. But hey, I'm not going to nit-pick this. Wifi works as well as cellphones. Cable TV also on the pedestal.

Older park that has been well maintained. They’ve recently add a newer section. The old section has cement pads with grass in between, and mature trees. The new section as well has wide cement pads, river rock between sites, young trees. Area behind sites is weeds with stickers. Small grassy pet area. Bring leveling blocks, the new section is on a slope. Management was friendly, small pool for the kids. I would like to have seen an enclosed dog area, playground for kids. Overall, nice park. There is train noise.

This park is so clean and well maintained. Very quiet at night except for the occasional train passing through. Paul Simon wrote that “everyone loves the sound of a train in the distance” and I believe it. Barbara in the office was welcoming and delightful, getting us to our spot in the newer area. Spaces are very good, level, cement and clean.
Costco and InNout are nearby. What could be better?

Came in late after a long day of travel, trying to outrun bad weather. No reservation and they were pretty full but they found us place for the night , they were really nice. I'd recommend them and their RV park.

This is under fairly new ownership and they really keep this place spic and span. Absolutely beautiful and the sites are paved and level. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Make sure to visit Sundial Bridge!
