Not too far off road. Good roads in
Quiet, rugged desert beauty. Clean. No facilities. Great TMobile. Marginal Version

This is part of the county park and has no facilities. It looks like several of the people there have established permanent residence. We had no trouble finding a spot. No road noise. Level and pretty much clean.

Wish we could have stayed longer. Beautiful site. Don't let the road scare you, it's gravel but good all the way in.

As the previous reviewer indicated this is a great spot on BLM land if you don't mind afternoon and evening winds. Be aware that you are 30 miles from the end of the road where Harpers Corner Trail is and about 20 miles outside the actual park so will need another vehicle to explore the park. The road down to Echo Campground is steep and prohibits RV's, trailers and passenger cars but if you have a high clearance vehicle is well worth the drive to the river.

We are relatively new to boondocking but loved this spot. We drive a 28 foot RV and tow a jeep. Since I work remotely the bonus was cell service.

This was a great spot to stop and stay for 2 nights. Note: Sign posting length of stay now limits any campers to 3 nights. It was very peaceful with a little traffic down the dirt road adjacent due to it being summer and a nice weekend. We just pulled further off the road and put the back of our rig to the road so weren't disturbed at all. Plus then we got a great view of the river that runs just below the meadow. We were able to use our jeep for a quick trip into Ketchum for breakfast and laundry. Would highly recommend this as an easy boondocking site.

Other reviewers cover this place well. We had no trouble with roads or finding a spot even though it was the weekend. With cell phone amplifier got 3 bars of Verizon.

Bully Creek is a little ways off the road but is easy to access. Check in process was easy and t friendly. Cash or check only to pay the fee - no credit cards. Electrical at all sites (30/50 amps) and water at some. Sites were fairly level and some had substantial shade. Dump station at entrance and easy to get to. By checking google we were aware that there are high levels of arsnic in the water so did not use any of the water. Check in lady assured that water was ok to drink but signs on the restroom doors indicated otherwise. Our personal choice was to not use the water. Park itself was very clean and appeared well used but spots were available without reservations. Showers and flush toilets but bathrooms were not very clean.

Only a few spots, but we were the only ones in the site even during the peak of salmon fishing season. Several of the other fishing pullouts were packed. Campground is about 50' below the highway, so fairly protected from the road noise. Water and a vault toilet were available in the camp. Large parking area next to the boat ramp. Enjoyed our overnight stay here and would come back.

Other reviewers comments of the park are true to point. However, rates have gone up since last reviews. Website has the rates we paid. $23 for a electric/water site but nothing but full hook-ups sites were available. We were lucky to find a site here on a Friday night.

Big Sioux meet our needs for a stay in Sioux Falls. Sites were spaced far enough apart but we did not have neighbors near us in this very lightly used park. Bike path within parks lead to lightly used roads. Access to Falls Park was easy via a car and bike path around that area was great. Staff at check in were young, but friendly and well trained.
