We were looking for something close to downtown Albuquerque, and found Nomadland, and couldn't possibly be happier. Easy to get to, very secure, and is the finest RV Park that we've ever had the pleasure to stay at. We had just finished a cross country trek and our trailer was literally as dirty as it's ever been, but we pulled right into the first class wash bay cleaned it up. Close to everything and easy access to anywhere in Albuquerque that you want to go. Highly recommend Nomadland. A plus, they are expanding across the street, looks to be the same high quality and features.

Small, very secure, clean, close enough to the road to make it easy, but far enough away to have a peaceful night. We'll definitely use Yanawana again

Let me begin with the only good thing about Grandma's, it's close proximity to Louisville, that raps it up. This is nothing more than a parking lot with spacing as close as you could possibly make it, with slide outs encroaching on the next space. It is filled with long term trailers, a lot of construction workers, who seem to spend the majority of their off time drinking, smoking, making noise and being totally inconsiderate and rude. Zero wifi, the noise from the Interstate traffic is obnoxious and it is located right next to a giant flea market that is open on weekends, filled with people that like flea markets. Several of our friends had stayed here in the past so we could get together, but none have wanted to come back, their description of the place is "it sucks", and it does. Grandma's is a last resort, bail out place to stay.

Close to Nacogdoches and that's what we were looking for. Typical RV/long term park, clean, not noisy, great cell service, all the amenities are functioning as they should. It is very hard to find the entrance, due to the road construction taking place, and we had the manager come get us so we could follower her back. The big plus is a beautiful lake on the property that you are camped up against. Road noise a little more that we would like but not obnoxious. We didn't check out the laundry, but from the looks of everything, we would be surprised if it wasn't nice. The park is clean and well groomed

The park is in a beautiful, pristine, wild area, remote enough that you want to make sure your supplies are adequate. When we were there, late Dec 23, the park was nearly empty. There are several options on routes to the park, the route from the south includes about 10 miles on a gravel road, named levee road. We used the route from St Martinsville to get to the park and left on the route to New Iberia, which is the one we'll use and recommend. Bring your mosquito spray, evenings and mornings they can be pesky. We loved it and plan on returning to do a little more exploring. 8 miles down the gravel road are some huge cypress trees, like none you've ever seen.

UPDATE FOR 23/24, We recently stayed at T.O. Fuller, followed our usual route to the park to find road construction closed the main road back to the park, Steam Plant Road. We used Waze to route us a different direction, Michell St and finally made it to our spot, so plan accordingly. ALSO, the bathrooms have been totally remodeled and are NICE! THANK YOU, we traveled through in the winter so have dewinterize until we get a little farther south, so this was a much needed/welcomed surprise.

The campground is open all winter, which we need. It's location is the perfect days driving distance, depending on time of day, traffic can be a little tense going to the park on I-55 and side roads until you reach the industrial area the park is located close to. The park is very beautiful, but is in dire need of some upgrades, especially the restrooms. We've stayed here for 9 years, and the restrooms continue to get worse, spend some money on your parks TN.

we had a full hook up site, although we reserved site 7, a pull thru, we discovered that the site would not accommodate our 30' Airstream. We were able to switch to site 9, a back in, and fit fine. The park sits on a lake, and was very quite and peaceful, we plan on returning.
tight roads thru campground and the road and site area pavement are built up so high you definitely don't want to drive off of it, Texas needs to upgrade some of their older parks, actually they're all old CCC era parks, some need more help than others

We stayed here because the location was close to an event. No online reservations so you are talking to someone to make reservations. Not certain where they found the woman who runs the front desk, most likely family as no one would have someone so rude and crude dealing with the public. The park was no where near capacity on a weekend, yet this woman acted like she was doing an interview for joining a country club. There are rules, then there are Merry Meadow's rules. She brought up several times about "losing" power and there is a sign that strongly suggests that you put water into your tank in the event of power loss. The sights are nothing special and obviously could use some maintenance and upgrading. We paid for 50 amp service, although the woman questioned why I would need 50 amp service with my unit. The real concern came when we got hooked up and our voltage gauge showed the power available was barely 110 volts, forcing me to use the propane to heat our water, with 50 amp service? It is obviously a family with kids campground, with the only attraction being the swimming pool, as the location is close to nothing of interest. We would only stay here again out of necessity, as it was not that appealing, not friendly. We hate spending our money someplace that it is not appreciated
