We did not stay here only used the dump and will not do so again. $15.00 to dump? Really? Not only is it way over priced but the dump pipe is almost a foot higher than the parking lot making dumping a pain, gravity works funny that way. We live local and will not use this again, I’ll drive to Victor or Ashton instead.
We spent one night here travelling home across Nevada. We stayed at another RV park down the street on our way through a couple of weeks before and this RV park is much nicer. The spots are well spaced, the hook ups were on the correct side of the RV meaning our neighbor's door was not facing ours. The showers and bathrooms were clean. I had to work while here and the wi fi was not good enough to work, however I had 4 bars with my verizon pulling about 50mbps download and 10 mbps up. I would stay here again.

First the good: the place is clean. Close to a west Yellowstone, 30 min if you drive slow and minutes to the Henry’s Fork. I had to work and found the park WI-FI to be sufficient, 10 Mbps download and 30 Mbps upload. Hotspot off my Verizon was even better 31Mbps download and 9Mbps upload. There are trees for some shade. During the week the place was pretty quite in the park but I bet it’s significantly louder during the weekend as island Park is a destination side by side and motorbike location. Now the bad: spots are close together but as I’ve said before, what do you expect from an RV park. The road noise from the highway is non stop. The place is also a bit on the pricey side and I am not sure what the “resort fee” is in addition to the price for a spot.

We needed a quick stop over to take showers, do laundry and work remote while travelling, this fit the bill nicely. As the other reviewers stated, the staff is super nice, it's actually surprisingly quiet considering the number of campers here and the proximity to the highway. Spots are tight and the camper doors do tend to face each other but we were only here for a quick break so it wasn't a big deal. Wifi was basically unusable for work but my verizon hot spot was pulling apx. 30 mbps download and 10 up so good enough. We would stay here again.

Vernon reservoir is a small lake south of the town of Vernon on a nice dirt/gravel road. Getting there is not an issue as the road is very well maintained. While the campground description says 10 spots that didn't seem to stop people from parking their RVs anywhere and everywhere. It's pretty trashy actually, too bad since it is a pretty spot. I recommend continuing past the reservoir for another 2 miles or so, there are very nice, flat dispersed camping spots along the road. The dispersed spots have enough room for the largest 5th wheels and the road is well maintained and there is plenty of room to turn around if need be. No cell or other services at the dispersed spots. As others mentioned, if you cannot stand off road vehicles this is not the spot for you. If you can put up with them the dispersed spots will work. We would not stay at the reservoir but would stay at the dispersed spots again.
