We stopped one night to rest, grocery shop nearby, and do laundry. This KOA met those needs. Sites are gravel/dirt with some trees or shrubbery between every other site. They offer a camp store, showers, pay laundry, pool, rec room with tv, mini golf, dump station, and propane. We were offered a small discount if we agreed to "like" them on fb. Someone lead us right to our assigned site.

Kudos to the people of Kingman, AZ. We found strange tire wear on the pop-up camper and after searching for a tire place we never found we ended up at Walmarts tire dept. They didn't have tires for the camper, but they called a local place and found what we needed. We headed over there where we were put ahead of the line. We finished were headed out of Kingman in less than 2 hours. Multiple people helped us out that day and we were grateful.

We needed to make a stop for the night in the area and this campground was easy to find from the interstate. We stayed here in July 2016 for one night.

Thirty nine dollars got us full hook-ups (30 amps) and a small site. We were on the end of a row and this gave us some additional privacy. Sites are close together. Most are long-term campers with decks attached to large rigs, permanent sheds, and individualized landscaping at each site. (I attempted to get a photo of the gnome garden but someone was staring me down from a neighboring site.)

We arrived at 4:45 on a Sunday and most amenities were closing at 5 pm. There was a very nice looking pool, closed at 5 pm on Sunday. As did the camp store, laundry, and arcade. We did spend the evening fishing in the two ponds. Because they are on private property we didn't need PA fishing licenses.

Bathhouse was clean. There are pay showers and .25 was enough for my teen who hasn't quite mastered a navy shower to be happy. The only issue was that the bathhouse lights turn on by motion sensor by the door. We were in the dark mid shower which wasn't nice.

There is some sort of arena across the street from the campground. There weren't any events being held when were were there. If something was happening the campground would have a lot more noise.

We were visiting family in the area and camped at this private campground for 11 nights. Cost was $28 per night or $150 for a week. We prefer state or national parks but found ourselves pleasantly surprised by how quiet this park was during our stay. There were very few people around during the week and campers on the weekend were friendly and respectful to each other. Quiet hours were quiet with the exception of some distant highway noise.

This campground has 160 campsites and roughly 130 of them are "seasonal" rentals with permanent or semi-permanent large RVs. It did not appear that folks were living full time at the campground but were truly vacation units. The section we camped in was for nightly rentals and was mostly empty with a few campers joining us on the weekends. Campsites included water, electric, picnic table, and fire ring on a grass site. Some other sites were gravel. Sites were very close together with no privacy but never filled during our stay.

Campground has vault toilets in the campground. At the entrance and sharing a building with a Moose lodge is the bath house and arcade. The restroom/showers were very clean but the water pressure varied day to day and was downright lousy some days. This building is locked at night and only the vault toilets are accessible at times. Campground also had a swimming pool, small camp store, firewood for sale, propane for sale, two dump stations ($10 fee for non-camper use) and playground.

Overall, this wasn't a get away in the woods but a convenient place to stay near family (and Columbus, OH.) We will likely stay here again and would recommend as a one night stop or a place to stay while in the area.

The RV Park is located behind the Quality Inn in Tuba City, AZ. Check in is in the Quality Inn. It is a gravel lot with full hook-up services. Spaces are so close together that our neighbor's sewer hose was right beside our picnic table. There are many long term residents living in the park. There was a bath house with showers which were locked and we were given a key to access them. Laundry service was also available but we didn't need to use it. We were approached by local folks multiple times while at our campsite asking us to purchase Navajo pottery and jewelry. There were 3 stray dogs that would appear at our campsite and stare without making any noise.

We stayed here in July 2014 in our pop-up tent camper while traveling from Mesa Verde National Park to the Grand Canyon North Rim. We didn't find a lot of camping options available along this route so we were thankful this was available when we needed it. We also found a local hardware store close by which had some supplies we needed for a camper fix. There were several options for filling up with gas in town and we ate at a Denny's for dinner. Those were the positives.

I would not stay here again due to people kind of wandering through the area and how close the sites were to each other. I also get nervous when things like restroom have to be locked up. Perhaps if we had a hard sided camper and not a pop-up canvas I would have felt things were more secure.

We camped here in July 2014 in our pop-up tent camper. The campground was full during our one night stay. I had reserved online ahead of time otherwise we wouldn't have found a site. The only problem is that I chose the most un-level site in the campground, or so my husband believes. The pad was paved so there wasn't an option to change the topography of the site by digging a wheel in like you aren't supposed to do. :-) I really think this was a fluke with site 65. There were some cool things about the campground.

The restrooms were nice and clean. There is a sink for doing dishes outside the restroom. Campsites had bear boxes for food. Our campsite had low a low rock retaining wall around it. The rock wall had seats built into it which the kids thought were cool.

The kids (aged 9 & 11) had mixed reactions to the dunes. The night we arrived we climbed some and attempted to slide down on beach boogie boards. This was not the way to go at all. We later found out that a nearby place rents better boards for surfing down the dunes. Ask at the visitors center and they will direct you to the place. We also ended the evening with a kid in tears due to blowing sand in his eyes.

During the night a wild thunderstorm raged through the valley and the next morning there was water running in front of the dunes. The kids liked building sand dams in the water and diverting it to where they wanted.

The Visitors Center was nice.

I would definitely stay here again. Not sure about the rest of the family, once may have been enough for them.

This RV park is pavement, concrete, and gravel. Mostly pull-thru, and can accommodate very large RVs. No shade at all and I can't imagine being there without AC.

Kids liked the pool. I liked the private bathroom/shower. Hubby liked dinner. The RV staff arranged for a free limo (looked like it was from the 80's or 90's with steer horns on the front) from the Big Texan to pick us up at our site. We ate dinner at the Big Texan and then were driven back to our site. Hubby loved it. I thought that it was an experience all right.

We also went to the Cadillac Ranch which is close by.

We camped in our pop-up tent camper for 4 nights in July 2014. The weather was fantastic with highs in the upper 70's during the day and in the 60's for great sleeping weather at night! Temps are much higher below the rim so take heed of the warnings of being prepared of the heat.

The campground is well maintained and had two camps hosts who took turns being on duty. One took things very seriously and made sure our camper and car stayed on the paved drive of our site. Our site was a pull through and the picnic table and fire ring were on the drivers side while our camper opens to the passenger side. The camp host made it clear that we could not turn around against the campground one way traffic. We didn't mind anyway, the setting was too beautiful to sweat the small stuff! While the camp host may have been a bit of a rule stickler the upside of that is that quiet hours were enforced which was nice. Campground is dry camping with drinking water, dump station, shower house, and camp store available. No cell service on my phone at our site but some slow wifi is available at the camp store. There is a gas station located at the campground with very expensive gas, however, the north rim is pretty secluded so your choices are limited anyway.

We hiked both along the rim and below the rim (HOT) with our 9 and 11 year old kids. We also dined at the lodge with a same day reservation. My daughter's favorite memory of our long summer trip was a mule ride along the rim. We also attended a Ranger lead talk and learned about many artifacts in the canyon. Great time and we'd love to go back.

We stayed at this park in Aug 2012 while visiting Mammoth Cave National Park. We had made reservations ahead of time which weren't necessary for a week night. However, reserved tags on site posts looked like it would be full over the weekend.

We had a beautiful spot right on the lake and we enjoyed beautiful sunsets over the water. The campground was quiet and peaceful. Surrounding area was rural and beautiful.

Sites are gravel and have been made level with retaining walls built by the Army Corp of Engineers. There is electric and water available at sites. Most if not all sites have views of the water.

We would stay at this park again.

We came to this park to be in the path of the Eclipse Totality and that was an amazing experience. Because of this unusual event, our stay was likely also not the norm.

The campground was full on our arrival the day of the eclipse and the park as a whole was getting full with eclipse viewers. Park staff were directing traffic and things were very well managed and organized. We had reservations and our site was empty upon arrival so we kind of checked ourselves in and then let the camps store and campground host know we were there.

We stayed in the Cypress View Campground. Most of the 48 sites are back in with only 6 being pull through. We had a back in site with close neighbors on each side. The road in the campground and parking in each site was gravel. The site was grass and heavy mulch. We had 30 amp hook-ups and water at our site. There was a picnic table and a fire ring on it's side. We weren't sure where to do a fire. Some people had fires in the rings on the mulch. This seemed like a bad idea to us. We drug the fire ring onto the gravel area for our fire. Some others had done that too. It was strange that there wasn't evidence of previous use of the fire ring anyplace at our camp site.

Most campsites are small and offer no privacy from neighbors. Exceptions to that are sites 27, 29, 40, and 41 which are huge pull through sites. Sites 32,33,34,35,39,41,43,45,and 47 have some views of the lake.

The bath house was adequate. Not the cleanest, but was mostly buggy and not human gross. There isn't a clear path to the 2 bath houses which was strange. You had to walk between the already tight campsites if you were on the outside of the loop.

Campground is walking distance to the boat launch area. There are kayaks to rent. The camp store is located here. It was a cute store and the kids always like stores with an ice cream case. Firewood is also sold here. Behind the store is an inside sitting area with beautiful views of the lake and tables and board games and puzzles. There is a dock to walk out on and fish from.

There is a small sandy area on the lake where a lot of kids were swimming.

The morning after the eclipse the campground was nearly empty. Things were quite and peaceful and we wished we could stay longer. The online reservation system had forced us to make 2 nights (minimum required) reservation. We only could use one so that was a bummer.

Verizon cell wasn't good with 1-2 bars of 4g. It was bogged down and really didn't work with all the people there.

We made online reservations for Ridgeline Campground in Cumberland Falls state park. Upon entering the state park (there was a smallish sign on the side of the road indicating we were in the park) we began looking for signs. The first sign we saw was for "Campground B." As luck would have it this was also Rideline Campground. We checked in at the camp store and were told that our reserved site 28 was very unlevel.

We were given a list of 3 other available sites to choose from. Those sites were along the ridge. The road is single lane but traffic runs both ways in this part of the campground. Sites are lined up on both side of the road. These sites were a gravel parking spot, a paved pad for RV, a gravel area with a picnic table and fire pit. Then immediately the next site boundary began. There is no privacy. Water and electric are between every other site so our electricity line ran under our rig to reach the electric pole. To get into our site we had to swing our tow vehicle into the site across the street to back into our site. Thankfully that site was empty or we wouldn't have been able to get into our site. Our travel trailer is 18 ft long and we were just barley out of the road. It was hot and we ran our ac all night so we didn't hear any noise from other campers.

Comments:
Most RV sites are for small rigs only.
Avoid sites 28, 29, and 30 - very unlevel
Sites 9-16 and 21-27 are tight back in sites with no privacy
Sites 32 and 35 are listed as tent sites but larger RV did use these, they were just set up on the side of the roadway
Sites 17 and 18 are listed as RV sites. Really? I just don't see how a rig would fit or be level.
Tent sites 37 and 39 are right beside the horse trail.
Tent site 20 is a double site and offers the most privacy in the campground. But it is the furthest from the bathhouse.

Some tent sites wouldn't be so bad. Most have wooden platforms to set up tents on giving a level place to set up. There is wifi in the campground and the hot spot was our site #26. (We realized that after we set up.) The camp store has everything you may have forgotten or run low on, a dozen eggs cost .99! The camp store sells wood. Bath house was adequate and laundry is also available.

We had reservations for 2 night because we had signed up for white water rafting with Sheltowee Trace Adventures down the road. However, after the trip and after a horseback ride we decided to pack up and get some miles driven. As the weekend crowd poured in it was clear the evening would not be a nice peaceful secluded state park trip we'd hoped for.
