Saw a couple of signs, and read the previous review, so I went inside and asked at Customer Service. She said it is ok, 24 hours max, park in the outer lot. A couple of other rigs around.

This is a part of the Honey Lake State Wildlife Area, and is used primarily during hunting season. Nothing special, just a circular drive with several picnic tables, surrounded by large cottonwoods. There are many dirt roads through the reserve, affording lots of hiking opportunities. Saw deer, ducks, a pheasant, and several sandhill cranes. I was the only one here at the beginning of June, and it was very quiet, except for the birds at 5 am. Close to Susanville for shopping, restaurants, etc., and very near the Litchfield wild horse and burro corrals. Any size rig would fit here.

Really, it's just a gravel parking lot used by truckers, not particularly level, and lots of road noise . Trash cans, and a kiosk with interpretive sign. Verizon was slow. Lots of wasps. Better off at Alamo Casino, 6 mi south in Wells.

I don't know what this place is like in mid-season, but at the end of March it is nearly deserted. Eight miles from town, there are maybe a half-dozen other rigs here. Just 1/4 mile from I-10, but the road noise isn't too noticeable during the day, and virtually non-existent at night. The main area is south of the interstate, but I did see one 5-er on the north side. No services, it is strictly primitive, dispersed camping. There are lots of trails around for hiking/biking, and there are a few ATV's every day, but it is really a peaceful, secluded area to hang out and shelter in place. Water and dump station are available in Quartzsite. Next time I am coming through town, I will stop here again.

A fenced, gravel parking lot for people to access the Old Spanish Trail. Busy on weekends, particularly in the mornings. Nice trail system for hikers, mountain bikers, and horses (NO ATVs ). Not really level, but works with jacks, blocks, etc.. Pleasant green area, but no shade in lot or on trails. Good Verizon

I have read the previous reviews, and they are pretty much spot on. There are actually several separate areas where you can camp/park, each with their own plusses/minuses. As you first come off the exit ramp, crossing the first cattleguard, there is a dirt parking lot to the left, used by truckers (they also overnight right on the on/off ramps, as traffic is minimal). To the right is a paved road, the original Rt 66, which leads to the actual "Two Guns", which was a combination zoo and wild west theme park (sort of). There are several dirt lots near the site, all large enough for large rigs towing to turn around. Although there were many curiosity seekers driving down to there, I saw MANY old nails scattered around here, and broken glass, so I don't recommend here.
Crossing the second cattle guard, there is an abandoned gas station to the left, with a large paved lot, and a gravel lot to the left. The building is actually in pretty good shape, and people often park inside the service bays while exploring. It is literally the only shade in the area. To the right is an old convenience store/trading post, with a large gravel lot in front, and another around back to the right. Nice and level, if you don't mind the highway noise.
Passing the station, you go through small stone posts and follow the dirt road up the hill you come to a fork. To the right, at the top of the hill, is the old KOA campground. It is overgrown, with a few dilapidated buildings, but there are many level sites here. One thing to note is that local kids often come up here to skateboard in and around the pool. There appeared to be one semi-permanent resident camped here. The left fork takes you around to a large gravel pit. There appeared to be a couple of semi-permanent campers set up here. Piles of gravel/sand offer some buffer from the highway noise, which isn't really bad anyways.
Although there were many tourists/ curiosity seekers during the days I was here, there was never an overabundance of them, just a constant flow. There really isn't that much to see, just a few ruined stone buildings and the "death cave". It was a great place to park after I had used up my 14 days in the Coconino, waiting for the Nat. Park and Forest Service campgrounds to open up. Verizon was great here 29.5 MPS download. Free dump and fill at the Maverik station near Wally in Winslow.

Sno-park is basically a parking lot for snowmobilers to unload and load their trailers. A couple of picnic tables and a vault toilet are the only facilities. Paved, but I couldn.t find a spot to level out. Just yards from Rt. 140, but it's not a busy road at all, so it's very quiet, and the stars are amazing. Great verizon. You need a permit to stay here from Nov. 1 to May 1.

It's now a Circle K. I was assured by an employee that the water is potable, and a fellow user told me she had filled here several times without issue.
