Small RV park. Very quiet. Laundry available, one washing machine and one dryer. Cost is $1 to wash, $1 to dry. Clean new equipment. Tiny town but there is a gas station with a minimart and a general store. We shopped at the general store. Great stop for taking care of housekeeping chores and to just chill. We were able to get satellite reception (we have a dish on top of the motorhome) but others with portable units were out of luck.

We used to love staying at Circle Pines, but it now has a "Holiday" designation and the prices are ridiculously high and it was very crowded. Fine if you have a family and want lots of activities for kids, but we were wedged awfully close to neighbors and couldn't wait to get out of there.

Pick your site then call the number provided at the entrance (I couldn't reach the caretaker, so I called the county number and got a very friendly person - Debbie.) We are in a motorhome and don't have dogs to walk, so we have no comments about goatheads. Never heard the train in the night, but selected a site toward the back just in case. $18 plus tax took us to $22 for full hookups. We had a nice view of the park and playground. Socorro is one freeway exit away for gas and a decent Walmart. Propane is available at the Conoco but access is tricky. We ended up lined up wrong and with our tow car still attached, it could have been a problem but the people there were super helpful and friendly. Our only complaint is the trash cans are overflowing.

A one-mile gravel road leads to the campground. Far enough away from I70 that you don't hear it. It is run by Utah State Parks, so no discount for federal pass. A decent number of first come first served sites. Some sites out in the open, others tucked in the trees. Riparian area, so lots of birds. The $15 fee also covers entry to the Fremont State Park museum. Lots and lots of trails, tons of petroglyphs. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful and peaceful. Very spacious sites. Full hookups available; we had a water/electric site. This is the sort of campground that really makes travel special.
The road is paved but rough. Nice restrooms include showers.
Truth or Consequences is 20 minutes north. There is a great Mom and Pop grocery store in town. The museum is amazing for such a small town.

This is our second stay at Canyon View RV Park. Spanish Fork is a good place to replenish supplies and fill the gas tanks: Walmart, Costco and lots of other shopping. Forgot how noisy the road alongside the area is, so it won't be high on our list for a return trip. Our travels are mostly wandering around with no fixed route. Sometimes convenience is just what we need. Nice clear satellite reception.

Ok, it's important to know pets are allowed in only one loop. We have two house cats and I would like to know what the big deal is. The campsite next to us had young kids, one of whom apparently plans to be a musician. Toy drum and toy guitar music was pretty constant morning and evening. Maybe there should be a no kids loop for people who prefer peace and quiet. Just saying.
Moving on, site A13 is nice for a motor home. It is level but gets too much sun during the day when it's hot.
The campground was very clean, but the bathrooms cost a star in the rating

Our holding tanks were empty and our fresh water tank was full, so all we needed was electricity. The campsites with electric only are very spacious. A great place to relax, but also wonderful historic fort buildings and lots to see in the area. Very peaceful but a highway does pass alongside, so there is some occasional traffic noise. A really beautiful area.

Such a pleasant setting. Lots of trees and shade. Water and electric hookups at each site. Decent cell signal. Had a great tour of the Gregory House. Worth the effort to get here.

Lovely city park. Off the main highway, next to the river. No pay station; park attendant stops by about dinnertime to collect. Only one other RV and a couple of tenters. There is a nice little children's playground. The sites are grassy and include a table. There is no road to the sites. Just drive across the grass. Our site didn't look level, but was nearly perfect once we were in it.
