Tried Lot D but too uneven and wanted to stay hooked up. Opted for the gravel lot across from Lot E. Getting a wonderful breeze and cool inside the RV. The tractor trailers are parked in Lot E together and I am far enough away that I can’t hear them. You have to check in with security inside the casino, but there are shuttle buses running. They didn’t want our tag numbers. Only one other camper around, and they are parked in Lot E. Can hear some squeaking...from the Casino?

Be prepared for train horn and noisy machinery around 8:30 am and on. Water was light orange, so opted not to use it. Okay for an overnight. Walked to nearby Mexican Restaurant. Was raining, so didn’t scout out the river path, plus was having issues with altitude. Our neighbor encroached on our site—rug, table & chairs, and truck! Spaces are clearly defined by yellow posts. Didn’t know where to go at first. Drive past office and around arena to see gated area on the right.

Long sites with crushed stones. Winding narrow road to get to it. Site backed onto playground so had noise until 6pm drowning out our DVD despite shutting windows, Most campers are long term around the perimeter. Water/electric only. Has dump site.

$20 to use dump station. Looked clean. Have pool. Can handle big rigs. Pull-in level spots in the middle rows with crushed rock. Fire rings and picnic tables. Immature or no trees in the middle. Appear full-timers are back-ins around the east and west tree lines and are very close for slideouts. Right off rte 1A so probably get traffic noise. Good for an overnight stop.

It was a very rainy weekend! Because of this, it was tarp City! Because it was a holiday weekend, it was packed!! The sites are very close together. We were at the bottom of the hill at an electric/water site abutting the lake (fenced off so you couldn’t walk to it or see it because vegetation and trees are maintained). The two bathroom facilities were uphill and not close, so we didn’t use them. My neighbors decided not to use them either and I woke up to seeing used toilet paper on the ground—my side I might add! They were tenting. We walked to the lake (mud was deep in sections of the road) to the dock and small access to the lake. Had it been sunny, I’m sure that small area would have been packed! There are tenters along that road, and I did not see any bathroom facilities nearby. We used the dump station and even with a 17’, it was tight as it is at the end of a junction road. The roads are narrow and I don’t know what we would have done if we met another when leaving. Just backing in was tight for us. Seemed to be a lot of full-timers in areas and they were tightly stacked in. We didn’t spend a lot of time there since it was an ATV trip (have to trailer since Poland is not ATV friendly).

Very hilly and sharp turns. Took several tries to get into tarred spot between trees. Spots are not level. Not many people here. Have fan on so we can’t hear I-70 traffic. But so much better than RV parks right near I-70.

Have to make reservations; paid $21 for electric, plus $8.50 fee, got $2 off 65+. Sites have to be backed into, and very hard to get into from the angles and steep sides. We only have a 17’ trailer, but took 3 bites to get it in. I chose #13 because the water was near—a mistake. Had people walk through my site to get to it. Yes, you can hear a train go by and some faint road noise if outside. A fan can drown it out. Some tent sites have a deck to be on! Handicap sites are concrete and wide. The Camp Hosts come around on a golf cart and are nice and helpful. The reserved sites say so on the site # post. If site is available, it says so also. Nice and relaxing. You get locked in at 9pm but are given a nightly emergency code. Have various bathroom buildings and a shower building.
