I originally didn't plan to enter Yellowstone VIA the NE entrance but we were so glad we did! The ride over Beartooth pass was incredible, the scenery was breathtaking and we even had the chance to take pictures in the snow in August. We crossed over the mountain in a 38' RV but would love to try it in a car.
Very clean laundry facilities and convenient location. The gates do shut at 8pm but they are not locked. We were registered before the gates closed. Had 6 elk walk up to the fence right behind our site. Location dictates the price so I can't complain about the price.
If you are looking for a quick overnight stop this is an inexpensive option. The laundry and restrooms were very clean and my grandkids enjoyed the playground and pool. The lady in the office was very nice, it worked perfect for us for a quick stop on our way to Yellowstone.
They obviously don't understand the meaning of a reservation, booked 2 months in advance only to find out after driving for 9 hours that they rented all the full hookup sites to monthly renters. A phone call would have been nice. From what we saw, it was a very low end park. We ended up going down the road to Runkle park and was pleasantly surprised with that site.
