We were sent to the falls by the KOA staff in Silt. Had a lovely time hiking around the falls and caves. Mostly, it was great not having to deal with the crowds since the State Park limits the numbers of visitors to the capacity of their little parking lot.

Tip - go early, especially in the morning months, to ensure your ability to park.

It looked like the campsites were well shaded and level. Fish were visible in the river and there were some very helpful locals more than willing to assist anyone who needed assistance.

The play area for the children is in dire need of refurbishment. When my two daughters (petite 2 and 4 year olds) were being pushed on the swings, the slide and two support legs started lifting. That being stated, the pool was the real attractant and what drew the kids in when it was 85 before the sun even rose.

The vistas were amazing both at sunrise and sunset. All other points of the day felt like you were on the face of the sun - but it is the desert. Just be prepared. And have shade. Lots of shade. There are shade trees at some, if not all of the sites.

A good, safe place to stay along the I15 if you need somewhere to stay for a night or two. A great place to stay for Zion or another of the parks. Just don't count on much at the KOA other than the pool for entertainment.

Bonus - the bathrooms were amazingly clean!
