One of the most beautiful buildings you're bound to see, and in the most unlikely of places. You might have a bit of trouble parking if you come on the weekend, but if you visit in the morning to watch the sun come up, it's incredible.

First off, this place is on private property, and there are "No Trespassing" signs plastered everywhere, so visit at your own risk.

That much out of the way, this place is insane. As if theme parks based on Bible stories weren't creepy enough as it is, ABANDONED theme parks based on Bible stories are even more terrifying.

It's pretty run-down, so you can see just about everything there in an hour, so you might not want to plan a trip specifically for this place, but its worth a stop if you're into abandoned places.

Really weird little place worthy of a stop by people looking to poke around an old mystery site. The directions are a little wonky, so if you visit, head to Old Waterbury Road and find a parking spot just at the end of the street. You shouldn't have any trouble parking there, there's no traffic or anything. If you find the power lines, follow the road until you get the new condo building, and you should find the pathway to the village just to the left.

Enjoy!

One of the most awesome tours you can take, and it really gives you a sense of how incredible, and awful, the prison really was back in the day. Favorite part? All the stories about prisoners who tried to escape... and the one set that just might have been successful.

Very cool to see in person, and you'd never even know it was there if you weren't looking for it. It looks a little dangerous, but seems pretty solid. If you want to check it out (and go inside), you should visit at low tide, the only time when the door is actually open and not covered by the tide.

One of the most iconic landmarks in Kentucky, and a great photo op for travelers. Nice quick stop.

You can get to this place by foot if you REALLY want to, but comeon, it's way cooler if you go by boat. Word of warning, it's rusty as all hell, so I hope you're up to date on your tetanus shots.

Beautiful hotel, great management, and clean as a whistle, but if you want to snag a room, you better book early. This place gets packed.

Ridiculously cheap pricing for the diving packages here, and the experience is worth way more if you ask me. For $320 bucks, the SeaMonkey special gives you eight different dives, two dives per day over five days. 2 days with 4 dives from Playa del Carmen, 1 days with 2 dives in the cenote caverns, 1 day with 2 dives from Cozumel.

If you go, you should bring a jacket. Siberia gets pretty cold, I hear.
