We stayed here for one night; Dec 5th, 2020. It is a wide open, desert area, with a highway not far away. Access is easy. There were at least a dozen other campers sharing the area, but there is plenty of space, so no problem. The area is entirely gravel, with scrub brush scattered around to break things up. We did hear sirens occasionally from the nearby highway, but it was tolerable. This is an excellent location to access Saguaro N.P. and/or the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. I'd highly recommend the latter. We would certainly camp here again.

We stayed here on 8-21-2021. It is right by the city park, but there were no activities when we were there. The area is quiet, as is the whole town. We actually did not see any signs indicating that this is a camping area, but there seemed to be no prohibition either. The area is level with grass and gravel. There is a dumpster near by for convenient trash disposal. There was some dog poop in the area, hence my "cleanliness" rating of only 4. We would stay here again, if we were in the area.

Stayed here in November 2020 for one night. I was surprised at how far it is from the interstate, but the roads are fine, so access is adequate. The area is clean. We were the only RV'ers that we saw. There was some broken glass in our camping area, and the parking area was a bit rough. The area was very quiet, and the stars were great. We would use this camp site again.

We camped here the night of December 4, 2020. It is a very large parking lot which will accommodate several dozen trucks as well as several dozen RVs. It was pretty much empty during our visit, however. It is very accessible off the interstate. There is a bit of interstate traffic noise, but it is tolerable. The area is very clean and there are many trash cans. There are also very clean public restrooms. The information center was closed during our brief stay due to Covid. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here on November 20, 2020. Great value. Water, power, and a level place to park my RV for $0. Can't beat that. Only downside is the noise from the adjacent Main Street, which carries quite a lot of truck traffic; at least it did the one night that we were there. We would definitely stay here again.

Spent one night here. Very easy access off of Hwy 90. About 6 other vehicles also here boondocking. Great stars. Paved parking area. Plenty of trash cans. The only noise was the small use of generators. Would absolutely use this spot again.

My wife and I stayed here for one night: 8-27-2021. It is a very upscale campground, and it was obvious that many of our fellow RV'ers were using this campground for extended stays or vacations. The campground is VERY clean and well organized. I would recommend this campground for those who wish to have the use of many amenities.

My wife and I stayed here for one night: 8-29-2021. It is a perfectly satisfactory campground, but nothing fancy. Of course, the price is below average also, so I am not complaining. It is obvious that the campground caters to long term seasonal occupants, but again, this is not a problem. The showers and toilet facilities were perfectly fine, but a bit removed, and not numerous. It caused no issue for us, but it might if the campground were busy. The site was not particularly level, but adequate. In short, I would say that this campground is perfectly adequate and fairly priced. My wife and I do not need fancy, so we were perfectly satisfied to stay here.

We stayed here for two nights in November 2020. Regular rate is $20/night, but seniors are $10/night. Even though it was mid-November, all of the camp sites were full both evenings by dusk. No reservations were available this time of year, so it was FCFServed. I recommend arriving early. This is a fabulous camp ground for visiting the Needles District of Canyonlands. Hiking is wonderful, although certainly rugged, right out of the camp ground. There are no hook ups, but there is a fire pit and and picnic table at each site. Public bathrooms are available and are very clean and nice. Generators have limited hours, so check the regs. Most of the camp sites are short, so big rigs would need to be very selective. The park is 36 miles from the nearest main highway, so I would not say that access is easy. On the other hand, that is one of the things that makes this park so special. Cell service was only available by climbing to the top of the highest hill, and facing to the east. Good luck. If you like hiking, I would highly recommend this location and this camp ground.

My wife and I stayed here for one night: 8-24-2021. We found the campground and its facilities to be perfectly satisfactory. That is, it is not fancy, but it is clean, and everything works as advertised. The showers and toilet facilities were well maintained and the water was hot. We would stay here again.
