My wife and I stayed here for one night: 8-27-2021. It is a very upscale campground, and it was obvious that many of our fellow RV'ers were using this campground for extended stays or vacations. The campground is VERY clean and well organized. I would recommend this campground for those who wish to have the use of many amenities.

We camped here for 2 nights in November 2020. It cost us only $12.50 per night because we are "Seniors." There are no services, but the location is fabulous for visiting the park. The camp ground is 18 miles from the main highway, however. There are public bathrooms, and potable water is available from hydrants. Generator operation is limited to certain hours of the day (8-10 am and 4-8 pm when we were there), so be advised if you need juice. Also, most of the camping areas are small. Big rigs will have a tough time finding a spot. Demand for this camp ground is very high, so make reservations if you can. If it is not possible to make a reservation, then I would suggest arriving at the camp ground around 9 am so that you have first dibs of sites as other campers are departing. I would highly recommend this camp ground if you enjoy hiking and the beauty of Arches NP.

My wife and I stayed here for one night; 8-25-2021. The setting is very peaceful, and it was quiet during our stay. There is not much shade for RV's, and there is no sewer hookup, but the water and power were fine. There is a pit toilet in the park. The parking site was a bit out of level, and there was some trash in the area, but it was not bad. There was very little traffic in the park during our stay. We would stay here again.

Yep. It's a casino parking lot, with about 50 other RV's of every type and age lined up in one section. We spent one night here; Dec 10, 2020. A security guard approached us as we first pulled in and said that we did not need to register if only there for one or two nights. The Colorado River is just across the parking lot, and there is a nice sidewalk that runs along it for perhaps a quarter of a mile. That makes for a nice walk after being on the road. Of course, there is access to the casino, but we did not go in due to Covid caution. There are plenty of trash cans, and the area is clean. Although there were many RV's taking advantage of this free camp ground, the noise was not bad at all. We would certainly stay here again.

My wife and I stayed here for one night: 8-30-2021. It is a lovely location on the river, with lots of space and low density. It is not fancy, but quite adequate for FHU's. The toilets and showers were not especially clean. The biggest detriment is the rail traffic which seemed to run every hour or so during our stay; day or night. This location is also quite a bit further drive from the freeway than we would normally make for a one night stay. I am glad that we stayed at this site, because of the beauty of the river, but we would not return again due to the train traffic.

As the previous reviewer wrote, this rest stop is just a highway rest stop. However for a one night lay-over, it works perfectly. The parking area is quite large, so there is plenty of space to spread out. The night we stayed here (9-27-21), there were 3 other RVs and a handful of automobiles, not to mention some long haul truckers. Of course, you can hear the highway traffic, but it is possible to park quite a ways off of the highway and there are a couple rows of trees between the highway and the furthest parking area. The Visitor Center is not open around the clock, but when it is open, there are plenty of clean bathrooms, if you wish.
