This campground is really more of a lakeside community with lots of seasonal residents. That said, the sites were well maintained and large, and the campground is quiet and peaceful.

We paid extra for one of the lakeside site, and it was so with it. We watched the sun set over the lake by the fireside. The site was level with a wooden deck right outside our door.

There was a small camp store, two pools and a laundry.

This was a great little campground with sites right on the edge of the lake. It was windy during our visit, so we chose one of the sites off the lake with some protection from the wind.

There are 8 sites with electric, but no 50amp electric sites on the lake. The electric sites were $15 and the non electric sites were $10. The site quality was decent and spacious. Some of the lakeside sites did not look very level, but others were better. Pit toilets only.

It looked like the lake got a decent amount of boat traffic during nice weather.

All around great and inexpensive stop in a lovely area.

We stopped here for an overnight on a cross country trip when the state park we’ve camped in before was full. The campground is very clean and the hosts were great. We pains $31.50 with the Good Sam discount for a site with electric and water hookups. There are no sewer hookups at the sites due to proximity to the river, but there is a dump station on your way out.

We had a nice level pull through site. The sites are pretty close together, but the campground is very quiet. There were no fire pits because of the burn band in effect. There are little cabins that are available to rent that are modeled like an Old West town.

The showers and bathrooms were very clean and well maintained. Laundry was available as well.

There are trains that go by across the interstate throughout the night. We didn’t hear them with our fans on, but in a setup without white noise this could be a problem.

We will definitely stop here again.

We spent two nights here during our visit to the Black Hills area in late August. The campground is huge and beautifully maintained. We stayed in the “Island” area. The sites are very spacious and accommodate any size rig. There are large grassy meadows between each area. The pool looked nice and the campground was very quiet.

We stayed in site 247. Which was level and had full hookups. We had a large lawn area around our site.

We typically prefer state or national parks, but wanted the hookups after several days of dry camping. This was a fantastic RV resort that didn’t feel like you were piled on top of your neighbor.

The campground is a couple of miles from he Crazy Horse memorial and Custer State Park, maybe 15 minutes from Mt. Rushmore and a few more to Jewel Cave.

The volunteers at god beautifully maintained Airstream park were so friendly. There were lots of open spaces available and we were able to take our pick.

When we rolled in one of our wheels was making a scraping noise. Another Airstreamer stopped by to see if they could help and gave us the name of a local mechanic who was able to get us back on the road.

The open sites were along the edge of a large grassy field. They have full hookups for only $25 a night! Wish we could have stayed longer.

This campground was very well maintained with lots to offer. We typically prefer state and national parks but chose this for its proximity to Niagra Falls (about 15 minutes). We did not really use most of what they had to offer, including laser tag, zip line and lots of other family activities.

We arrived about 45 minutes before check in after a long day on the road, the staff member seemed annoyed but they let us check in. The camp store had lots of souvenirs and supplies available.

Our site was large and level gravel pad with full hookups and looked out toward the small lake on the property. The campground was fairly full but all campers were reasonably quiet. The bathrooms were immaculate. There was lots of room for big rigs, but plenty available for smaller setups like tent trailers as well.

This is a pricey but very well appointed campground.

While this isn’t much of a destination, it is reasonably quiet, close to the freeway and to Lewis & Clark Caverns. We were looking for a convenient stop when our reservations at Glacier NP were cancelled due to wildfires. These guys had space available and were well located along our route home.

The site was small but level. We had water and 50amp electric. The park wasn’t busy so we asked to switch spots from the site they had assigned to a site with a little shade and grass.

The showers were dated but clean. There were no hooks for towels or clothes.

The dump station is located at “campsite 0”. The WiFi connection was decent.

The service station was staffed with high schoolers (I think). They were friendly and helpful but not very knowledgeable.

I thought this campground had underrated, but maybe we hit it just right. The site was clean and level, the lake was stunning, the bathrooms were decent and the weather was perfect. It was midweek toward the end of August, so there were only a handful of other campers in the campground.

Site 4E was level and long enough that we didn’t have to unhitch. Which was nice for a quick overnight. Our site had 30amp electric.

The lake was beautiful, especially at sunset.

I could see how it could be a very muddy experience in the rain. The showers were free, pretty clean but old. There was plenty of hot water.

We chose this campground for its central location to both Boston and the college our daughter is attending. It was about a 45 minute drive from each. (There is a train available into Boston from the nearby town of Littleton as well.)

The sites are fairly close together, and there seemed to be room for any sized setup. We were on site 57, which was a pull-through level gravel pad with full hookups. The owners were very helpful, and had information on travel, trains, Boston and local eateries.

Bring your bug spray if you are traveling here in the summer! We ended up with chigger bites from somewhere in the Boston area - so treat your clothes or your skin for a more comfortable experience.

The campground was well maintained. My husband’s only complaint wa that there was only one dumpster near the front of the campground.

We stayed one night here on our way across the country. The site was pretty level, if a little muddy. Water is shared by multiple sites, and we didn’t need it for the night. The site had electrical hookups as well.

The campground itself is backed up to several connected areas Johnny Appleseed’s gave, a river, meadows and ball fields. The campground was full but quiet and the hosts were very helpful.
