Penn Wood Airstream Park

Penn Wood is a little community of about 50 seasonal Airstream residents. While crossing northwest Pennsylvania, we called to see if we could stay the night. We received a warm welcome from the owners and residents, and for $25 we had full hookups on a level, grassy site. Plenty of room for our dog to play fetch and take nice walks. We'd happily stay here again.

The volunteers at god beautifully maintained Airstream park were so friendly. There were lots of open spaces available and we were able to take our pick.

When we rolled in one of our wheels was making a scraping noise. Another Airstreamer stopped by to see if they could help and gave us the name of a local mechanic who was able to get us back on the road.

The open sites were along the edge of a large grassy field. They have full hookups for only $25 a night! Wish we could have stayed longer.

Great place to stay for a few nights or a few weeks. Close to interstate 80 but in a secluded area with old growth trees and limestone trout streams.

One of the nicest campgrounds we have stayed at. We had a peaceful stay with full hook ups (50 amp, sewer, water and even cable) for cheap ($35). The majority of the area are lease sites but the daily rental campsites are in a meadow in the middle. Nice dirt road to walk around, a river and pond. Playground and a communal porch area with chairs. Everyone we spoke to was pleasant. We did our best not to disturb the residents which is always challenging with three little kids. WiFi is decent, not great. AT&T was one bar at best. Definitely worth the stay and we will return.
