Not too far from the city but worth the drive for a great camping experience. Decently level sites, no hook ups but dump station and trash dumpster available.

Large and well kept family style campground. We were not able to try the hot spring/pool. But the large grass central area was great and gave the campground an open feel. A few old growth trees offered great shade. We had a crop duster start flyovers at 0800, but we were all awake and interested in watching it. Would stay here again.

Visited during a local rainstorm and flood, they were gracious enough to upgrade us to a FHU spot. We explored the area a little, unfortunately everything was muddy or flooded. Will have to come back to fully
Enjoy the area.

Nice grass and concrete sites with a lot of class A’s. Not the best part of town nor amenities around. Pool was open, laundry and workout room look well maintained. Not a bad overnight stop but I would not stay longer than a day or so.

Great state park well off the interstate but worth exploring. Just beware the bugs, they swarm. Even in May with a snow storm, they were surprising out in full force.

Expensive for smaller spots in a parking lot, with good hook ups, but the views and relatively close access to San Francisco cannot be beat for the area. Uber/Lyft accessible. Short walk to food, ice cream, coffee. Picnic table, no fire ring. Laundry, restrooms, showers and RV supplies in the main building. Grassy areas for pet relief. Friendly staff, and we will stay here again in the future.

Honestly one of the best campgrounds we have been to. Most sites back up to the springs and the white river is just over a bank. Fresh water faucets throughout the loops (threaded by site 23 and 26). No dump but gorgeous views.
Please don’t camp here just so it will not fill up. :-)

Was hesitant to try it, being so close to Hwy95 but turned out to hardly hear the road during the day, and not at all at night.
Quiet with lovely view of the lake. Covered picnic table and campfire rings were very nice. Multiple neighbors in a very busy BML area, but spots are far enough away that they were hardly noticed. Will come back to stop if needing a BML boondocking location.
Vault toilets. Central trash dumpster on the way in. No water nor dump. About 15min to Hawthorne. Great cell and sun exposure.

Elk roaming the area and into your site. Sites are not even close to being level. Very close to marina and short drive to fishing bridge with larger general store. Gas stations and dump with fresh water nearby. Generator hours were 0800-2200 for national park service approved generators.

Exceptionally close together spots with a lot of road and boat noise. Acceptable for an overnight or short city RV park stay, but not family friendly. Lots of full timers towards the back of the park. Difficult reservation system. Traffic to and from the area is bad in Portland during rush hour. Shopping mall within walking distance across the street (Duluth Trading was the biggest perk of this park).
