The cemetery is actually closer to Liberty Rd & Connor Rd. But you can’t miss his tomb stone. I would suggest parking at the bottom of the hill and walking to his resting spot. The road that goes through the cemetery is a one lane road.
Worth the stop
Peanut is gone. Looks like it came crashing down. The crown is shattered on the ground but there is no sign of the peanut anymore other than a small plaque.
This was great while it was still around. But they have since tore it down and build a new modem playground. The new playground is nice though.
Very disappointing. Cemetery was closed and in really bad shape. It’s surrounded by 4 churches that you would think would take care of it.
Natural bridge with 2 old houses and a moonshine still under one. Worth stopping at!
Historical marker is interesting.
It's part of the roadside giants of Lincoln Hwy. Look up the rest. There are some other cool places to see also.
The gentleman working it was very knowledgeable. The state is currently working towards actually opening up the lighthouse for visitors. However, the work that needs to be done to make that happen is extensive.
It's located in the center of town.
