Tall shade trees, clean bathrooms and showers, clean laundry room. They have pizza, grocery store and a lounge on site.
Close to the lake with access, child’s playground. Really a great place to stop!
Wish I had more time, I’d stay longer than one night!
This is a great stop. Nice space between lots, concrete parking pads, can accommodate large RV, lots are positioned so your RV entry door is facing the east or northeast direction, so you’ll enjoy a shady late afternoon and evening (also, most lots have trees!!!) Large grassy areas for outdoor activities and a child’s playground and basketball hoop. Quite location too. On your way to see Scott’s Bluff monument.
Great chance to see herds of Buffalo or antelope. I had a chance to see a Buffalo walk down the road and right by my vehicle. Fantastic!
Great educational history stop! Try not to miss the AM reenactment. At 10:00 AM one locomotive pulls in and at 10:30 AM the second locomotion pulls up. All the actors (in period costumes) reenact the Golden Spike ceremony. Very good show!
This restaurant is no longer open.
Hidden gem! Don’t let the vintage exterior of this motel detour you, as the rooms have been nicely remodeled. No old dirty carpet here, just new laminate and tile floors. Great bathroom and rain shower. New bedding and room darkening window shades. All for a reasonable price.
