Stopped here for fuel. No "mobile fueling" available, but the Pilot/Flying J Rewards program is honored. I agree with the description that the lot is very small and even navigating for fuel is a bit tight. I personally would not recommend this as an overnight stop unless it were my only option. (We have a 37' rig + toad)
We did not stay here, but noted how nice the park looked as we drove by. Near the freeway, so I'd expect road noise, but it looked beautiful and clean. Will definitely keep in mind for future passes through here. Several River rafting outfitters nearby if you are looking for a little activity.
We spent a week (Friday to Friday) at “Off the Hook” and I must say it was SO pleasant. The place was quite full over the weekend, but it was still serene and nice. The campers absolutely honored the quiet hours, and no one had to be “policed” to do so. We were visiting our grandkids in Dayton, so this was a great place for them to come to “Grandma & Grandpa’s house” for paddle boating and campfire hot dogs! I appreciated that they had life jackets for free usage and paddles for the canoe you could check out. No reservations necessary. If the boats aren’t in use, they are yours to enjoy.
Showers, laundry, day room with indoor games, as well as a playground, volleyball, frisbee golf and swimming. Free catch and release fishing as well.
At this time, the satellite images of the park aren’t accurate, so I will add some photos that may help (our site with the red jeep was water + electric only, and I think the best site in the whole place!).
All sites had good access for their type (back-in, pull through). Also sites can be either next to the lake or not, and the park offers sites with varying levels of service (water, electric, sewer) which is reflected in the price.
We will definitely come back!

Just checked into this... As Air Force Veterans, we hoped we may be able to use this great looking facility. You must have a valid VA Card or another ID that will allow you on base (ie: Active Duty or Retired). However, if you have an active duty family member, they MAY be able to sponsor you. Procedure for that: The member would need to make & pay for the reservation, and sponsor you for a pass obtained through the Visitor's Center. Unfortunately for us, the availability was not there for the dates of our visit. Hope this is helpful.
FLORIDA has the smallest post office. The Ochopee Post Office in the Everglades is the smallest in the United States. The building, 8 feet 4 inches deep and about 7 feet wide, once was a shed to store tools and tomatoes. Now it’s a full-fledged post office with room for only a single clerk. It has 40 P.O. boxes and sends a carrier out six days a week on a 170-mile route to serve 300 patrons who dwell mostly in the middle of nowhere.
You’ll find the post office about 65 miles west of Miami or 35 miles east of Naples on U.S. 41, also known as the Tamiami Trail. Be alert, the tiny post office is easy to miss.
RV Drivers:
Skyline Vista has decent RV parking. I added a photo of the (South Unit) map as their was NOT enough room at the South Unit Visitor Center for us to stop and ask.
Also the south loop is CLOSED (Aug 2021) - with expectations to not open until 2025 according to the Ranger I spoke to (road closed due to catastrophic rockslide damage).
Beautiful park!
This looked amazing. Unfortunately we arrived on a day they were closed (Tuesday as of this writing). I’m adding a few pics I captured looking through the windows.
We learned from the Overnight app that Warrenton loves not allow ANY boondocking, regardless of the business owners willingness to allow. Walmart and other stores were well marked with NO OVERNIGHT PARKING.
This turnout was level, and available. Highway and airport traffic (only helicopters for us), but not terrible during the overnight hours (we even slept with the away-from-road windows open). Not a destination, but perfect for a quick overnight when ALL RV parks are booked way ahead!
We didn’t stop today due to the drizzle and our schedule, but this looked like a great place to stretch your legs … added a couple photos as we passed by.
