My first Walmart! The area seems to be pretty nice and feels safe. We parked and went to dinner and shopping. Lots of room for rigs to spread out and still not be close to the store front as they ask you not to be. We parked store front all the way in the back of the parking lot. Next to a nice grassy area to take our dogs and the Starbucks is within walking distance in the morning. They even have garbage cans all the way back here.

Stayed one night. Security wasn’t apparent so we did not check in after arriving at 9pm. We stayed in the well lit, somewhat off level parking lot.

This place is just next to Westgate Resort. We missed our turn so we “got” to do some exploring back in there!

We enjoyed our stay here. There’s lots of trails and road to explore but the campsite is an open field with a small mowed patch. There were 3 rigs here at any given time during our stay. We met some nice people and had a campfire together!

After getting caught for 1.5 hours in stand still traffic on I-84 this was a blessing. We didn't venture far however I understand there are a lot of pull offs. We hit the first pull off which was not even a quarter mile off the highway. There was some trash around but not too bad.

Never saw anyone else. Highway noise and train noise at the spot we chose. I imagine the further in you go the less noise.

It’s nothing special (except for the recognition of military personnel) and not well maintained but perfect for a free stopover! It is very quiet and we had a nice stay completely alone.

There is a ghost town a couple of miles south of the park. It’s privately owned and they do tours once in a while. If you’re here at the right time, we weren’t, you might get in to see it. Check it out at Shakespeare ghost town if you’re interested!

There’s nothing special about this park except for the lovely lady running it. It’s a small park out in the middle of no where with full hook ups for $15 a night. There is grass though and in the middle of the desert that is special and as a bonus it’s the closest park to the Cowboy Dinner Tree. We enjoyed our stay and Elaine was very accommodating.

Parking lot for RVs is between hotel and restaurants. Small sign is there but you have to look for it. Nice but small areas to walk the dogs complete with doggie bags and trash cans. We were here with about 10 other rigs. Security patrolled.

Ate at the adult only restaurant (read cocktails). After dinner we walked over to the country store and bought Barbecue to go for the next nights dinner. All the food was very good. It was a fun stop over.

We found clean and in working order. Not much else to say!

I know the dump and water is closed during winter however it’s Spring and 65 degrees here but the dump is locked up and the water is turned off. Don’t chance it if others haven’t reported it open yet!

We came on a Sunday afternoon so only a handful of campers were here. We had no complaints. It was quiet and people seemed considerate of others around them. We were pretty spread out so when busy I could see more noise and such. It was pretty clean when we were there, considering. We enjoyed our stay.
As a side note, it looks like they are expanding the highway so construction might hinder entrance down the road but I'm just guessing.
