My kids loved it - we stopped in at Murphy's and they were awesome - told us how to find the spot which is a block away! Driving to the spot you'll find other Star Trek photo spots too!
So for miles you see the billboards and for a couple dollars you get to take a break and see some cool artifacts and antiques however my kids just wanted to race to the end... It is a great break in a long car ride and the people working there were really friendly and nice

A little tricky to find put Ironwood Park in Altoona in your GPS as there are different 3rd St and our GPS got confused but it is a sweet little park for kids and mine loved to take a photo and play for a minute before hopping back on the road
This is a historic building downtown that has different museum displays on different floors. The Rt 66 stuff is cool but the War Memorial is awesome! It was a fun trip with my kids and we walked down the street to the Poniac car museum which made the trip!

Not much for kids - if you have small kids go down the street to Area 51 to take cheesy photos with the aliens they will love it - for adults this is cool to read letters and report
Even my kids loved this... You drive for a while not sure if it is really there and the you round a bend and are stunned by the beauty - you can drive over but stop and walk over the bridge the - look down and the blue and green Caribbean like water
