Just your average little playground. Not too much I can say about it other than that. There are nicer parks in a 10-minute vicinity but if this is your local playground, it's fine.

Very cool little art store. A bit pricey but they sell tons of cool notecards and other things made by local artists. If you need basic art supplies you'll likely find them here. If you're looking for unique little gifts for someone, this could also be a cool place to look.

This is a very expensive men's clothing store. While I do appreciate the fact that they're providing men in the city a venue where they can get high-quality, stylish clothing difficult to find elsewhere in the city, I just can't stomach the cost. That being said, a lot of what they sell is handmade, made in America and top quality fabrics and stitching.

Not a big fan of chain restaurants to begin with. Don Pablo's is just that...a chain like any other...nothing really special about it. The portions are massive and the food mediocre.

Really nice park to go and run, they have some nice trails that wind along the riverfront.

Beautiful church. Usually empty so if you need a moment of respite, it's the perfect place. They have one or two masses everyday, I know one at 11 a.m. every day of the week.

Love this place! In my opinion very under-rated, which contributes to my love of it. The food is really good (the bone marrow and the patatas bravas are phenomenal), they have a decent selection of mezcal, they have a set menu at lunchtime which is really good. For some reason it can be on the empty side sometimes as it doesn't attract the same foot traffic as some of the trendier places, but that adds to it's appeal as the staff are friendly and very accomodating.

In my opinion this place exists to outfit trendy hipsters in over-priced garb. If that's your thing then you'll probably love it! They have some cool jewelry and there's definitely a nice vibe in the shop, but not somewhere I'd spend my money.

Encanto is going to give you one of the most stunning views of the Pacific you can get in Acapulco. The pool is amazing and frankly the whole hotel just a stunning labyrinth that surprises you around every corner. Lounging all day on the pool deck, eating tostadas de ceviche and drinking cocktails is pretty much paradise on earth. If you stay for dinner, the sopa de robalo is phenomenal. Not many people know, but they also have a little private beach club (they'll take you down in golf carts) and it's some of the nicest ocean swimming I've experienced. Private little bay, crystal clear water, high deck to jump off of. Spoil yourself.

It's sort of a psuedo-Japanese place where the food is so-so but they're doing some cool conceptual stuff. If nothing else, it's a cool spot to go grab a few drinks. You can't see it from the street but if you walk through the main section of the restaurant, there's a really beautiful patio garden in the back.
