This is one of the best campgrounds we ever stayed in. New, very well maintained, spotlessly clean, very nicely landscaped, great views and reasonable cell phone coverage. The staff is very friendly, welcoming and helpful.
The sites in the upper loop are closer together than in the lower loop. The rates for sites in the upper loop are also lower ($40/night). The lower loop is much nicer, sites further apart and more privacy. The higher rate ($50/night) is certainly worth it.
The back in sites are long enough for our 34' trailer and our car. The pull through sites are even longer and can accommodate very large rigs. All sites are gravel with in the lower loop also for each site a patch of grass and some trees. The camping is on a hillside and most sites are not perfectly level, but with a few blocks you can always get your RV horizontal. The great landscaping, shade and privacy more than make up for it.
You will have the best views of Mesa Verde and the Montezuma Valley from sites 44 and 45 on the South side of the lower loop. Sites 46 through 49 offer nice views of Canyons of the Ancients National Monument and the Ute mountains to the West, even though some of the trees around the sites are blocking the view. But hey, they do give a lot of shade... Best privacy has site 46 which also offers a lot of shade under the trees behind the pad and still has nice views both South and West. Cell phone coverage is usable throughout the campground, best coverage has site 8 at the top of the hill.
There is a pavilion that can be used for all sorts of activities and there is a small laundry room with two washers and two dryers. There are new and very clean bathrooms. Two family bathrooms with a shower, toilet and sink, and two larger facilities in the main building where the laundry is.

The closest village is Dolores, which has not much to offer. The only thing worth mentioning there is the Dolores River Brewery, a nice brewery and restaurant. A little further away (20 minutes) is the town of Cortez with different shops and restaurants and even a movie theater. This is where you will mostly do your shopping or go out to eat.
There is a lot to do in the area. Across the road is the entrance to McPhee reservoir. Just across the Montezuma Valley (1 hour by car) is the famous Mesa Verde with its cliff dwellings and spectacular views. Other parks and sites within reach are Canyons of the Ancients, Hovenweep, Ute Mountains, and just a little further away is the town of Telluride with all the mountains and trails surrounding it.
From the campground, a short hiking/biking trail lets you explore the area West of the lower loop. It takes about 20 minutes to hike it completely and return to the campground.

Most of the sites have plenty of shade because they are separated by large trees and bushes. The sites are small and close together and despite the trees there is little privacy. There is one row of sites at the edge of the campground that has no trees, but these sites are a bit larger. Because they are at the side of the campground where the prevailing winds come in, you do not want to be camping there when there are high winds.

The RV park has a lot of permanent residents and, despite the tall trees, looks like a run down trailer park. I will not go into any details and I am all for people choosing their own lifestyle, but I would say that mixing permanent residents with travelers and putting them side by side is not a good idea. In our opinion, camping here was not worth the money we spent on it.

The facilities have seen better days. Some parts are new and work seems underway to upgrade it, but there is still a lot of work that needs to be done to make the place look decent again. The central part of the resort looks very nice, but towards the perimeter it quickly degrades. The swimming pool is nice and looks very clean. The showers and toilets next to it are older and, even though reasonably clean, not very well maintained. These are the only public showers on the resort grounds, so I guess most campers shower in their RV.

The tennis courts and other sports grounds next to the swimming pool are new and very nice. Campers in the RV park have free use of all the facilities.

There is a large general store and a few bars and restaurants. The food there is reasonable, but too expensive.

The staff is very friendly and tries to help out whenever they can.

The RV park is in walking distance of the visitors center and conveniently located for visiting Death Valley.

The wifi is reasonable and we had fairly decent 3G coverage through USA Comnet. While on the wifi, a few websites refused service because the IP range was blacklisted. Apparently some folks here in the park do naughty things on the internet.

If I would visit this region again, I would camp at the NPS owned Furnace Creek Campground behind the visitor center, which has a large number of spacious sites (both full and partial hookup). If you want to use the facilities on the resort from there, you can buy a pass for a small fee.

We camped here overnight but we would have stayed longer if we had more time. The staff was very friendly and helpful and we absolutely loved the location. Right on the dunes, very quiet at night and close to the town of Pismo Beach. From our site, it was only 100 feet to the trailhead which led right into the most stunning dune landscape. Provided you wear the right kind of shoes, hiking to the beach takes between 20 and 30 minutes. Another great thing about a location this close to the ocean is that there are no mosquitoes.
On our hike we were treated to an absolutely fabulous sunset. Considering the number of photographers present, this was no exception. Make sure you head back on time, because after the sun is gone, it is really dark out there.
It was a little windy. We had a site in the upper part, which meant proximity to the dunes and a terrific view, but more wind. If you want less wind, find a spot in the lower part. It will be a little further from the trailhead and the view will not be as nice, but the wind will be much less. The road up the hill to the upper part is a pretty steep incline, but by all means doable.
The sites are not very large. Our site was big enough to get in and out easily, but we would have liked a little more room for privacy. But considering the whole package, we were very happy to be here!

The pictures that were already on Campendium before I wrote this review obviously date back to a happier era for this campground. Most sites are occupied by permanent residents and the facilities are an absolute no go area - so bad that I did not feel like taking pictures there. We had a site with full hookups so we always used the toilet and shower in our trailer. Our site was very close to the entrance in a part that was relatively nice and quiet.

We realized a bit too late that the days we planned to be in the Mendocino/Fort Bragg area included the Memorial Day weekend. All of the campgrounds we tried were already fully booked. So we were happy to find a spot here. The lady making our reservation was very friendly and when we arrived (late in the evening, after dark) she and a few of her colleagues were very helpful in finding our site and getting our big trailer into it. Which was great, because it took quite some maneuvering to get it right. Because the ground started dropping right behind our site and we had to push our trailer as far back as we could, our rear stabilizers dangled about a foot above the ground. Before we could blink our eyes, there was a wheelbarrow with some large blocks that we could use to extend our levelers. So we really liked the staff and the service they gave us.

There are two options for reaching this campground from the south. We came via HW101 north and then HW20 west. HW20 was a challenge with many turns and steep inclines. When we went back south, we took HW1 south and then HW128 east, which was not only shorter, but also easier to drive. As a bonus, we liked the scenery much better. So we definitely prefer the HW128 option. We liked the location, close to Fort Bragg, the coast, Glass Beach, the Point Cabrillo lighthouse and Mendocino.

There is some noise from HW20, but it is not too bad. There were very quiet days and some days where residents would play music for a few hours. Never very loud, but audible across most of the campground.

This campground has a great location. It is in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia which is just on the other side of the bay from Halifax. Downtown Halifax is just 10 minutes away and still the campground is pretty quiet and green.

In the loop we were in, the sites are laid out in pairs with the hookups in the middle. This means that the odd numbered sites are great for backing in. But the even numbered sites only work if you go into them forward, which is only possible with a motor home. We were in site number 4 with a travel trailer, so we could only reach the electricity easily. We also managed to reach the city water tap thanks to our long hose. But there was no way we could hook up to the sewer, so we had to use the dump station on the way out.

The sites are nicely spaced and green. Facilities are clean and well maintained. We would come back, but then we would carefully select an odd numbered site.

We were in the area across from the office, close to the entrance (loop A through D). This is by far the nicest part of the campground. Long pull-through sites, full hookups, nicely landscaped, lots of shade. The part to the west of the office is a bit run down, with some cabins that have seen better days. In the back is a row of nice tent sites. Then all of a sudden, under a large tree, a boat trailer that has been stuck there for a year or more. Under another tree there is a car that has been sitting there for a number of years. Those things are a bit spooky.

We would have liked our site to be a bit wider. If you are side by side, the neighbors are a bit too close, especially if they have slide outs.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The other guests were nice, we even made a few new friends here.

Getting to Park Delta Bay from HW12 has two options: around the east through the small village or around the west via Jackson Slough road. Both are pretty rough roads, but doable.

The facilities were beautiful and spotlessly clean.

The small pool looked nice, but I have not seen the gate open, it was as if it was not used even though it looked very well cared for. Same for the tennis courts.

The laundry was nice and clean, only problem was the dryers that always run on the highest temperature, no matter which setting you choose.

There was some occasional noise from the road, but not too bad

We would definitely come through here again.

We stayed here for one night because we needed an overnight stay. The park is OK and the staff is friendly, so we were OK with being here for one night. But the sites are too small, the road is too noisy and the surroundings are not very nice. We could only sleep with the windows closed and we felt really cramped in our site. The location is convenient for the Bay area and Napa valley, but next time we are going to look for another campground in the region. We would happily pay a bit more and be comfortable.

We really liked this park. It is not far from Apache Junction, Mesa and the larger Phoenix area. And it is very close to the Superstition Mountains and the great views of Tonto National Forest.

The park is very well landscaped and meticulously maintained. As soon as a site is vacated, a camp host comes around in a golf cart with brooms and rakes on the back. The pavement is swept and the gravel raked, so the campsite is ready to receive the next camper. The rest rooms are cleaned once a day and on a busy day, that is not enough. We mostly used the shower and toilet in our trailer, but of the two occasions we did visit the facilities of the park, we once had a spotlessly clean rest room and once a very messy one.

We stayed in a brand new loop, which was not on most maps yet. Our first site was #89. This is a curved pull through site with electricity and city water. This site is very close to the next one - just a bit too close to our liking. We pulled in just far enough for our electricity cable and city water hose to reach their respective poles. That way our view did not include our next door neighbors - who were very nice, but we did not need to have their trailer in our view all the time. There was plenty of room to park our car in front of the trailer. On arrival, we were greeted with loud gunfire from somewhere out in the desert - Arizona has very loose regulations with regard to firearms. Fortunately it only lasted for about 0.5 hour. We heard gunfire once more during our stay. There was no road noise and the other campers were also very quiet.

All campsites are paved and most are nicely level, with a picnic table and fire pit on gravel. There are many bushes and small trees. Not enough for shade, but enough for some privacy and for a lot of small birds. Some sites are very close to each other, but most are well spaced. The distance from this new loop to the neares facilities is quite long. The management is developing a new building with rest rooms and showers between the new loop and the group campsite. This will be a great improvement for most campers, except for site #89, which is right next to the new access road that is going to lead to the new facilities.

We had first booked for only three nights. We liked it so much that we extended our stay, which meant that we had to move to another site. Since we had to dump anyway, this was not a problem. The second site was #103, which is a large back-in site in the same loop but with more privacy and an even nicer view.

The staff, the camp hosts and the other campers were very friendly. We highly recommend this park.

We liked this campground because it has a number of sites with full hookups and at the same time it has a pleasant, laid-back, close-to-nature feel to it. The sites are gravel and reasonably level, there are a few trees between the sites, there is a lot of green around the loops and it is relatively small. The fact that it is small means that there are not a whole lot of amenities and it is pretty basic. Which is fine by us, the entertainment for us is in the surrounding area (Napa, you know) and the campground is just for sleeping. And it is a great relaxing place to sleep. The only challenge we had was that the sewer was way too close to the front of our back-in site. There was no way we could reach it with the tubes that we had. Our neighbor had a similar problem, so we solved it by swapping sewer connections.
The campground is just outside Napa. Which is great because it is nice and quiet and at the same time only 15 minutes from downtown Napa. The staff is friendly and welcoming. We will certainly be back.

Las Vegas RV Resort is one of those campgrounds that look like a giant parking lot. If you want to be out in nature and enjoy the silence, you have come to the wrong place. But it is conveniently located, wel layed out, and reasonably priced. The facilities are spotless and the staff is very friendly and provides great service. We use this campground as a starting point for our trips and we have stayed here for one or two nights several times

T-mobile cell phone service is very good, .4 bars out of 5. The wifi provided by the park is not fast, but it works (and that is better than in many other locations).
