This is a great municipal park right on the shores of Lake superior. The campsites each have a picnic table fire pit and barbecue. There’s a great playground and very clean restroom shower area as well as a beach for swimming and a boat launch. A beautiful well-maintained and very clean park!

A nice KOA’s, with fire pit areas and picnic areas. Each state has a picnic table and the gravel site that we had was level. There is a group yurt for rent a nice little store, and quite a few cabins as well as gazebos and other gathering areas.

Amazingly beautiful! Relaxing!quiet! Recharge here! Full hook ups, dog friendly, very level gravel site with a stunning view of the pastures.

The freeway noise is the biggest negative. The host was extremely nice and friendly, the gravel sites are wide enough but ours was way off from level. Nice dog area and small playground. They have a clean nice little store and a pool ( although it wasn’t open yet this year when we were there)

Clean pet friendly park with very nice and helpful staff. New sod in between the large gravel sites. Bigger park than I expected.

This beach front campground is beautiful, quiet, and relaxing. Under new ownership they seem friendly and helpful. Dog friendly park that is away from the major city hubs, nothing but the beach is walkable. Our site was level with a grill, fire pit, picnic table and a wooden deck.

Nice park but RIGHT on I-10 and the highway noise is bad. Awesome laundry and bathroom facilities. Lovely lounge area beautiful lake and a nice little beach. Sites are large, concrete, with picnic tables and they are level. Staff is very nice and this is a dog friendly park.

Nice KOA on a creek next to the greenbelt, perfect for a beautiful walk. Close enough to downtown for a fun trip to Riverwalk. Very nice staff, dog friendly, clean, level decent size sites with fire pit and picnic tables.

I wasn’t quite sure what to expect but it’s a nice clean park. The sites are gravel but our site was very level. Some of the sites come with the picnic tables and there is a little pond, there are cactuses throughout the park that give it a nice homey feel. There’s a café that’s open for breakfast and they sell propane. My biggest complaint about the park was some highway noise and it was hard getting a hold of them to make reservations.

Beautiful park, large sites with concrete patio with tables and chairs! Fruit trees at the sites, nice pool and hot tub with a very well stocked store. Delicious bbq restaurant with complete bar and live music. Helpful and knowledgeable staff, very dog friendly. Would love to stay here again. Above and beyond most KOA’s!!
