Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on June 28, 2022We only stayed here overnight on our way to Houston. The location is convenient in that it's right on I-10, but the traffic noise from the highway is extreme, including all night. The RV park is literally at the end of the exit ramp from I-10. Sites are a mix of grass and sand and gravel. Most of the park is occupied by permanent or long-term trailers, some clean, some not-so-clean. You can go fishing along the lake, but I wouldn't call it relaxing, because of the proximity to the interstate. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Although the Passport America price was right, we would likely not stay here again due to the highway noise.

It is right next to I 10 interstate, and is very loud. But it has full hookup and we simply closed all of our windows at night and turned on the air conditioner. We slept like a baby. I will say we only stayed here for a night on our way to Waco, TX.

A One Night stop at this campground! I will like to say that the only positive thing in this place were the staff, and the full hook up service. The campground is located around a lake, with all the sites and only road filled with gravel, dust, rocks, and holes. Our site was at the end of the campground, and our back faced Interstate 10, the traffic noise was horrible. Wi-Fi non existent, and cable nor digital channels were available. The place has a laundry, but we did not use it, and people do swim in the lake. There are boat ramps, and water sports. We left filled with dirt, RV and toad.

Very clean and friendly overnight stop. Easy off and on to Interstate 10. All campground roads to sites were newly paved with asphalt. Gorgeous heated pool, hot tub, gas fire pit that glowed blue at night. Sheltered picnic area with complimentary propane grill for cooking and refrigerator. Our site was very quiet at night, away from the roads. Used complimentary bicycles to ride around large property. Excellent game room and laundry in main building. Complimentary coffee, TV, magazines, daily newspapers. Very accommodating to one night travelers as well as long term residents. Would stay again when in the area!

Right off I-10 which makes it easy in and out and not to much road noise. Staff was great. Used their dog wash area.

We stayed here for a month while working in the area. This resort has a clean laundry room that is cleaned every day. It has a workout room. The sites surround a clear lake with incredible sunsets. We were spoiled by being able to swim in the lake (with a water trampoline) or the pool each evening after work. The staff is friendly and helpful and we met others staying for work. The only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is because of interstate noise. It’s easy on and off I-10, which is helpful but noisy. Honestly, with the AC running, we didn’t hear the noise at night, it didn’t keep us from sleeping. We will return to this RV Resort every time going through this area!

This is a lovely stop. Concrete pads and roads. We stayed at the rear portion of the campground away from I-10 back by the lake and pool area.

We had plenty of room for our 38' motorcoach and toad. We had full hookups plus wifi and cable. We were right next to the very nice pool with sprinklers and hot tub and a covered porch with a huge table, outdoor fridge, grill and tv. All of this was within view of the very nice lake on site.

Nice park but RIGHT on I-10 and the highway noise is bad. Awesome laundry and bathroom facilities. Lovely lounge area beautiful lake and a nice little beach. Sites are large, concrete, with picnic tables and they are level. Staff is very nice and this is a dog friendly park.
